Story
Introducing, Banjo! At 40 lbs, Banjo is a pint sized pup that thinks he’s one of the big boys. Our best guess is that he’s a cattle dog/sharpei mixed with some other surprise breeds tossed in. Banjo is about 3 years old and was found as a stray. Sadly, we don’t know what his life was like before ending up in a rural shelter. What we do know is that he is dog friendly, people friendly, loves his walks, play times, is crate trained, housebroken, and is learning leash manners. He’s young, energetic, and still very puppy-like. Banjo has already mastered ‘sit’ and is very food motivated. Treats are life! New tricks? He should learn quick if treats are involved. Interested in learning more about Banjo? Apply at www.novapetsalive.org/adopt *Banjo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, was given dewormer and monthly preventatives, and is microchipped.

Story
Lucy Lu came in with her friend Mr. Miagi. She was left on the side of the road with her crate....Lucy is typical shar-pei, with a large and in charge attitude. She is approx. 40 lbs. She would do best in a home without small children or other dogs. Visit her at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net. heartworm tested: Negative visit our fb page: dogs of rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer. a home visit may be required
