Hi, I'm Boulder, a robust and loving brown Pit bull. At 6 years young, I'm a big boy, weighing 97 pounds, but don't let my size fool you—I'm just a gentle giant. I'm neutered and all my shots are up to date, so I'm as healthy as can be. I'm a pro when it comes to house manners and walking on a leash, and I adore people of all ages. I'm the kind of guy who is content to be your shadow, lounging by your side, but I also love to stretch my legs with long walks and a good roll in the grass. My eyes will tell you stories, and my main goal is to make you happy. I enjoy family time, but I'm also independent enough to be fine on my own. Winter's been good to me—I've enjoyed it with a bit of bulking up and lazing about, thanks to my love for peanut butter sandwiches and other snacks. But I am working on slimming back down to my summer body. If you're looking for a loyal companion for walks, picnics, or just some cozy snuggles, look no further. I'm fostered in Sanford, NC, but I'm ready to find my forever home with you. I promise to be the teddy bear you've always wanted!

Our pets are physically located and fostered in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to you or meet 1/2 way for the cost of our gas. We are 5 1/2 hrs west of Virginia Beach. Our pets are physically located and fostered in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to you. We have a cost effective transporter that has stops in most north eastern states. Transport runs every 2 weeks. Please note! Don't just apply just because this dog has a cheap adopt fee. You must prove you can afford to adopt regardless! I find that most of the folks who apply for my reduced fee dogs back out when they realize they are still responsible for the transport fee. If this applies to you please don't waste our time! To the VA Beach area we can transport to your location for $200 or we can do halfway for $100. This will cover just my gas with today's high gas prices. You are welcome to drive to us in Mt.Airy, NC to pick up! Scarlett was born 2-1-21. Her mom was a german shepherd golden mix. We are not positive what dad was. Scarlett is active and very loving. She is good with people and ok with other dogs her size. She is too playful for small dogs. She needs a large dog only home. She is not good with cats. She needs an active home with room to run. She would not do well in a cramped up apartment with no exercise. She is house trained and crate trained, This baby will go home spayed and current on vaccinations, deworming, flea preventives, started on heartworm prevention and microchipped. This pup will receive a health certificate issued by our vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all his health records with the adoption. We require a prescreen application to apply. Meet Meraki! Meraki is such a special lady! She is super quiet, very timid at first but blossoms when she has a doggie friend to hang and play with. We are unsure about cats because she has never met one! Meraki loves her toys, belly rubs and just being near her human and dog friends. Meraki lived her prior life in a pen with not much human contact, only dogs so she will require patience and understanding BUT she is so worth it! Our dogs are fostered and located in Mt.Airy,NC. We are 5 1/2 hrs west of VA Beach. You are welcome to drive to us. We NORMALLY offer 1/2 way transport for $125 or deliver to VA Beach for $225. We have temporarily suspending transport due to vehicle issues. This sweetie was born 12-1-22. She is a boxer mix. She is a bit shy until she gets to know you. However, she warms up fast. She likes everyone and is good with kids. She does well with other dogs but she does not like cats. She is potty trained and crate trained. She really is the sweetest humble soul ever! This pup is current in all age appropriate vaccines, preventives, heartworm tested and on prevention and microchipped. She will be spayed prior to going to her new home.The adopter will get all the health records with the adoption. We require a prescreen application to adopt.
