Story
“Scrappy is proof that rescue dogs bounce back ❤️🐶 Meet Scrappy 🐾 Scrappy is a Shar-Pei / Pit mix (best guess) with a big personality and lots of energy. I rescued him from Stafford Animal Shelter last year when he was underweight and missing hair—he’s now healthy, strong, and fully filled out. ✨ The good stuff: • Loves car rides, running, jumping, and chew toys • Knows sit, paw, speak, lay down, and waits for treats • Very loyal and people-oriented • Smart and eager, just stubborn at times 🏡 Best home: Scrappy needs an experienced dog owner who can provide structure, exercise, and consistency. He would do best as an only dog or with someone comfortable managing feeding separately. No small kids recommended High energy Can get overly excited and jump Has some separation anxiety Not neutered yet (looking into low-cost options) Scrappy is not a beginner dog, but for the right person he’ll be a fun, loyal, adventurous companion.

Story
Juno came from a very bad situation where she was left to her own defenses, medical needs were not met and neglected her whole life. Luckily, Animal Control stepped in and seized over 25 dogs off the property where Juno came from. It was immediately clear she had two skin infections, double ear infection, broken teeth, and demodex mange. She was also heartworm positive. She had a very hard time trusting humans, but has been sweet, cooperative, and gentle the entire process. She allowed our vets to examine her and treats her without growling, fighting, or biting. She is truly just a lost soul, who wants to be loved so badly. Because she was kept outside, she did not receive the one-on-one human attention dogs need to thrive. This led to a life of isolation. She is getting used to comfortable dog beds, treats, being inside and enjoying life as a companion rather than a forgotten about dog. Juno is being treated for all of the medical ailments we have discovered since her arrival. She still has a long way to go, but having a home waiting for her at the end of all this would be the ultimate happy ending for her! She gets along with other dogs, though she likes them quieter and calmer. She ignored the cats (we don't think she has ever seen one). She is very mellow, quiet, and crate trained. She prefers a place that she can hide when she is overwhelmed. She will start to follow you around when she starts to trust you. It's clear she is looking for someone to claim as her go-to human. All in all, Juno is a wonderful girl. She is what we would consider a "project pup" which means it will take time to get her to trust you and build her confidence. She has been through A LOT these past couple months. Story
Honey lives up to her name -- she's so sweet! Her little face wrinkles mean that she's got a bit of Shar Pei in there -- super unique! Honey would love a home who can give her lots of love and attention!! She loves to play and is smart as a whip and is super attentive with commands. She's selective with her doggie playmates, but can get along with the proper intros (she tends towards alpha) so meet & greets are super important to ensure the right fit! She LOVES kids, but kitties are a no-go. Fill out an application to meet this sweet lady! updated 01/30/26

Story
Dior is an almost 4 years old -American Bully-he weighs around 58 lbs. Dior is a confident, energetic boy who came to the shelter as a stray alongside his brother, Jetta. Although their owners were identified, repeated attempts to reach them were unsuccessful and neither dog was reclaimed. Dior is affectionate and playful once he settles in, but he can be a bit bold when first meeting other dogs. Meet and greets with other dogs are required to ensure appropriate matches. Like his brother, Dior is still very puppy-ish and benefits from clear structure, consistency, and continued positive guidance. Dior would do best in a home that understands strong, energetic dogs and is committed to providing routine, enrichment, and ongoing socialization to help him thrive. Dior is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, and on monthly preventatives.
