Meet Sammie Breed: Shar Pei/Pittie mix Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Adult Weight: 49 lbs Fun fact: He’s an easy going guy, he wakes up every day ready for whatever comes his way Foster home: New Glarus, WI Activity level: Low Friendly with: Dogs, Cats and Kids Sleep style: Couch during the day and a dog bed at night (he LOVES being tucked into a blanket at night, so sweet!) Meals: 1.5 cups mix of raw, canned and freeze dried foods twice daily Medical needs: Dental cleaning (ADL will cover cost), some potential allergies managed with diet/baths Meds: None but does benefit from herbs ($20/month) Snore-o-meter: 1/10 Bark-o-meter: 1/10 Shedding meter: 1/10, he’s looking to grow more fur :) Best feature: His Tostito chip ears and those soulful eyes Walk out song: Zip A Dee Doo Dah - James Baskett Favorite season: Sammie wears layers in most seasons so he’s looking to tan his hippo body in the summer sun! Hi, I’m Loki. I am a one year old, cream colored Lab/Shar Pei mix, around 50 lbs. I prefer hanging with adults, so I’d be a better fit in a house without little kids. I’m a bit of a leaner … okay maybe I’m a huge leaner but I love to cuddle when you pat me. I like playing with other pups, and I really like the ladies (wink, wink). I have medium energy, so it would be great if my new family has a yard. I’m working on my manners, house and crate training. My foster mom thinks I’m really smart. I already know how to walk on a leash and LOVE car rides. Are you looking for that very special boy to join your family? I’m right here and can’t wait to meet you. ​ *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other s tates to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation.
