Story
Quick Summary (I will update this later to be more concise): -Thor used to belong to my brother & his wife, but due to her allergies she had to rehome him. -I used to live with them & Thor, but after I moved, I acquired 2 cats. I saw my SIL post that she needed to rehome him so I wanted to take him. I figured they'd be able to get along since he's been fine with other cats. He is still good with one of the 2 cats, it's the other cat that won't warm up to him. -I offered to house him until she could find someone else to rehome him to because of her allergies, but each time I checked back in, she wasn't making any progress with finding anyone and eventually communication went sour and they won't take him back. -Looking to rehome to someone who is looking for a young at heart senior dog, he's 8 but acts like a young adult. Major cuddlebug and loves attention. He is kennel trained but we don't use one. He's also prone to ear infections due to his breed (requires hygiene upkeep).

Are you looking for an adult dog (who won’t chew on your shoes)? You clicked on the right gal! Jasmin just wants a family to snuggle up with. She loves soft beds (sofas) and warm blankets! Jasmin is a precious soul, she is great with all other dogs..Male and female, good with kids and loves all people.. She is calm and just wants to lay at your feet and be closer to her person. She doesn't belong in the kennels and isn't happy at the Rescue. If not ready to adopt, consider fostering so we can get her into a home where she feels safe and content/happy again. Hi! My name is Jersey, and I’m a young guy looking for a family who will love me and help me blossom into the amazing dog I know I can be. My life didn’t start out very easy, I was found emaciated and spent two weeks at a shelter in Milwaukee before Best Paws Rescue gave me a second chance. Now I’m living the good life in my foster home, and wow… I LOVE it here! There are so many toys, comfy beds for naps, and regular meals that are helping me get healthy and strong. I’ve recently discovered that cuddle time is pretty awesome, and my foster dad says I’m well on my way to becoming a professional snuggler. I’m a very sweet boy who loves toys and enjoys being around people and other dogs. I really want to play with my foster dog sibling. I’m just still learning how to ask and figuring out dog manners and social cues. I’m not mean or aggressive at all, just a little inexperienced and eager to learn. I’m still working on potty training, but I’m making progress. I sleep quietly in my crate at night, which my foster parents really appreciate. I’ve also met cats! I was curious and wanted to play, but I respected them when they hissed and swatted. Such good feedback, right Because I’m young and enthusiastic, I could do well with children as long as parents understand I might accidentally knock little ones over and can get a bit mouthy when excited (I do listen well to correction). With continued socialization and training, I have all the potential to become an incredible companion. All in all, Jersey has had a rough start, but he’s incredibly loving, eager to learn, and ready for a family who will help him build confidence and continue showing him how good life can be. Requirements: Children 8 years and Older All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match.
