IN SHELTER, VISIT THE SHELTER IN PERSON TO MEET THIS DOG. Puddles is mixed breed likely a labradoodle, about ten months old. He still exhibits many puppy traits which a new owner should be prepared to manage. He is prone to becoming very excited and shows this by jumping up on people and using his mouth. Since he has Poodle in him which were dogs bred to retrieve animals from water he likes to carry a soft toy to help with his mouthiness. Also true to his breed Puddles is very intelligent and will become bored easily if he is not given adequate mental activity. He will do well in a home where someone is interested in doing ongoing training and teaching him plenty of commands to make his brain work. He also requires a decent amount of exercise every day to get out his puppy energy. Poodles are sensitive dogs and respond best to calm, positive training. When Puddles is comfortable with a person he will lay his head on their lap and gaze up at them, he has very intense eyes which can be off putting to some people. His new home should be ok with a dog who is intuitive, sensitive to their surroundings and demands a lot of attention. When he is relaxed he makes a good office companion and will lay quietly by your feet. He is still learning about the world and needs some confidence building in new situations. He has made some dog friends here and this is helping him gain confidence and is a great way to divert the mouthiness directed at people into healthy dog play. Meet him daily from 1pm to 5pm except Monday.

He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Korea, where his future was uncertain and time was running out. Despite that rough start, Max is resilient, curious, and ready to experience the life every young dog deserves — one filled with learning, love, and adventure. Still very much a puppy, Max is at an age where training, bonding, and exploration are part of everyday life. He’s eager to grow into a confident companion and is looking for a home that will guide him, engage his clever mind, and include him in family life. &#226&#156&#168 Adoption Information Max’s adoption fee is $1,995, a non-refundable donation that helps support lifesaving rescue efforts.
