Animal Information: Garth and Wayne are 9-week-old Shepherd/Poodle brothers who somehow found themselves in the Stanislaus shelter in California. NOT cool. These two sweet, scruffy dudes deserved way better, and, like, one look at those totally adorable faces and we were all, “Dude… we gotta get them out of there." So we did. Now Garth and Wayne are ready to rock their way to new homes here in Seattle. They’re young, goofy, cuddly, and 100% made of best friend material. Party on, pups! We can't wait to meet you! Foster Profile: Garth is a 2.5-month-old Shepherd and Poodle mix (Best guess). Picture a small scruffy professor with a beard and a lot of opinions. That's Garth. He's smart, curious, and always up for something. Pointers were bred to work all day and Poodles were bred to outthink everyone in the room, so Garth learns fast and gets bored fast. Toys, puzzles, and short training sessions keep that brain happy. Garth is curious with new people and does great with other dogs. Potty training is going well with a consistent schedule. Crate time comes with a short speech, then a nap. He can even sometimes make it through the night without a potty break. A home that knows high-energy puppies would be ideal. Someone ready to put in the walks, the training, and the patience. The payoff is a loyal, clever sidekick who thinks you hung the moon.
