Animal Information:  Lila is a 1-year-old Lab/Labradoodle mix who came to us as an emergency intake. Her owner was fleeing a domestic violence situation and sadly could not bring Lila with them. Lila has been very loved and well cared for her whole life, and we promised her family that we would find her a wonderful home. Lila is a happy, social girl who loves everyone she meets. She went to doggy daycare regularly and does great with both small and large dogs. She also lived with two children under 7 and absolutely loved them. She is crate trained, house trained, loves car rides, and knows basic obedience. She does need some work on her leash manners because she likes to pull, but she is young and eager to learn. She is also learning not to jump, but approaches everything in life with 12 out of 10 enthusiasm. Lila has the softest ears, the sweetest face, and such a loving personality. She is a really special girl who deserves a family of her own. We know the right home is out there for her, and we can't wait to see her find it.  Foster Profile: Coming Soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Profile: Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle (1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle). He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4-week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with a balanced trainer, and doing well.
