Leo is expressive, whether thru showing his love by showering you with licks or protectiveness by alerting you to deer in the backyard. Even though he is still recovering from a broken leg, Leo has never slowed down. He enjoys puppy parkour from couches and beds, as well as his nightly game of tag with the moths he finds in the grass. Although he has the mane of a lion, he is happiest hopping around like a rabbit. He’s energetic but will also curl up with you to watch TV or to read a book. I have two shelties, one male and one female. They're bonded so they'll have to be adopted together. I'm a widower with four shelties. My wife and I were going through a divorce when she unfortunately passed away. She had one of our dogs and when she passed away I had to bring back the dog she took. My other two are 12 and 8 and I won't rehome those two. Stardust is a 5 year old male who's a large sheltie, he's very sweet. He's neutered and is a bi blue sheltie. Ariel is 4 years old and she's a small sheltie. She's a tricolor and isn't spayed, she's very sweet.

Meet Sir Edward! He is (approximately) 6 years old and a 20-25 pounds full grown. Edward is from our most recent hoarding case and dogs DNA tested from the household were a smorgasbord of breeds (Coonhound, Sheltie, Lhasa Apso, Russell mix, etc, etc). Sir Edward is full of life and full of himself! He enjoys the company of other animals and LOVES to play. He has been exposed to kittens, puppies, and dogs of many ages and sizes, but not all love his playful excitement. He is still learning the ways of the world in regards to kennel, potty, routine, and just being a dog. He will need an adopter with patience and the resources to teach him these things. Sir Edward has some herding tendencies, so no young children please. A fenced in yard is preferred - he doesn’t know how to walk on a leash yet! Adoption application can be found on our website!

While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Such a cute little one, full of life and oh so playful. Blaze will race around your livingroom or backyard with joy, or play with your toes and shoelaces and then, all of a sudden, be all tired out from exploring,  running around, and curl up asleep. Only to wake up ready to go again. At this growth rate, we expect a medium sized dog when all grown up, probably around 40 lbs. Not too big, not too small, just right for a best friend and family dog. All ready to learn what you want to teach and be your very best dog ever!
