Story
Hi, I’m Ursa Marie! I’m around four years old, best guess, and a Great Pyrenees/Poodle mix. My coat leans more Poodle, so I’m not a heavy shedder. I prefer to leave an impression on your heart rather than your sofa. I’m a very sweet, gentle girl with a heart of gold. I can be shy in new surroundings, but a little patience and affection help me find my courage. Once I feel comfortable, I’m happy to soak up all the love you have to offer. Another friendly, confident dog in my new home would be wonderful - a buddy to show me the ropes and reassure me that the world isn’t quite so scary. A securely fenced yard is required, since I can get nervous at times. I walk nicely on a leash, although loud noises, especially motorcycles, sometimes stop me in my tracks. Apparently, nobody told motorcycles about using their indoor voices. I’m healthy, trained, and good with kids. My foster thinks I may do well with cats, too, although that hasn’t been confirmed. There isn’t an ounce of meanness in me, just a tender spirit looking for a safe place to blossom. Could you be my forever person? I’ll bring the beautiful curls and the heart of gold.
