Story
Meet Juno — a gorgeous 8-month-old Goldendoodle puppy with soulful eyes, a sweet personality, and a serious love of tennis balls. Juno is about 35 pounds and is estimated to be around 50 pounds full grown. He is affectionate, playful, friendly with people, children, and other dogs. He enjoys car rides, toys, outdoor adventures, and of course chasing a tennis ball whenever he gets the chance. For such a young pup, Juno is already off to a great start. He is crate trained, has been non-destructive in his foster home, and is responding very well to training. He already knows “sit”, “down, “paw”, and has learned to wait patiently for permission before eating his meals- what a good boy! Juno also has a nice “off” switch. When nothing is going on, he is happy to lie around quietly near his people. Sometimes he’ll dig through his toy basket to find something to chew on, and so far he has been very good about choosing his own toys rather than shoes or other household items. Juno is still a puppy, so he is continuing to work on potty training and age-appropriate puppy manners. When he gets excited, he can still be a little mouthy, as many puppies are, so his foster recommends a home with children age 10 and older. Juno’s ideal home will be with an active family that has the time and energy to give a young dog regular exercise, playtime, attention, and continued training. A securely fenced yard is an important requirement for Juno so he has a safe place to run, play, and chase tennis balls to his heart’s content. He would also do best with a family that is not away from home for long stretches every day. Juno loves being involved with his people and will thrive in a home where he gets to be part of everyday life. Juno would be thrilled to have a playful dog sibling who enjoys running, chasing, and playing with him. He could also be happy as an only dog as long as he has regular opportunities to socialize and play with dog friends.
