Meet Parker! Parker is a stunning 3 1/2 year old apricot Standard Poodle (65lbs) with so much joy to give a family. Parker is a medium energy guy who enjoys walks and car rides but mostly snuggling. Full body cuddles are his specialty. You will never have cold feet again! He would do best in a home that has someone home most of the day as he does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. Parker is a sensitive, intelligent guy who has deep affection for his family and committed to be your full time partner/shadow. If you shut him out…well he will just open the door knob. (He is just that smart) Parker does great with chickens, cats (even crazy ones), and smaller dogs. He does need slow introductions to large dogs. He generally finds a way to get along with anyone. Parker would do best in a home with children above the age of 8. Parker is fully house trained, great with grooming, is crate trained (though prefers to free roam), and walks like a dream on the leash. Parker will need to go to a home with a FENCED YARD! NO ELECTRIC FENCE! Please do not apply unless you meet this requirement. Parker will need someone dedicated to his grooming, both regular professional sessions and daily upkeep. Meet Bowie! This young poodle mix was picked up as a stray wandering rural Georgia. He was already neutered and crate trained, so it’s obvious he was someone’s baby at some point! Bowie is a loving and playful guy who doesn’t seem to have had much socialization with other dogs in the past. He was quite unsure what to do when he first met his foster siblings but now he loves hanging out with all of his new friends! Bowie will need another playful dog in his forever home. He's still a bit shy with new people, especially men, but with some patience and chicken nuggets he will warm up quickly and be your best friend! As an added bonus, sweet Bowie is crate trained and will happily plop down in his crate for some downtime! would like to adopt with his sister Iris Sherman was raised from a puppy with small dogs, and he thinks he is small. He has no clue how big he is. He is so sweet and affectionate, and he loves to lay on you and try to sit in your lap. He’s energetic and active and needs to run and play, but he’s a big baby and very loving and gentle once he settles down. He went to a trainer when he was about 18 months old, and she harmed him. Since then, he barks at other dogs when he sees them, and he needs a slow introduction when meeting new dogs. Once he has that, he loves to play and run with other dogs and has lots of fun with them. He will eat socks or soft toys so those cannot be left out on the floor. Sherman also has allergies and gastro issues. He is doing well with a prescription food and supplements in addition to preventive treatment and maintenance for his allergies. He needs a home where she can get a lot of exercise and attention and be a cherished part of the family. He would love to be adopted with his sister Iris if possible, but we understand that we may need to separate them. He has a sensitive stomach and has allergies. He eats hills z/d sensitive. He has Mometesone lotion applied to his feet. Would like to adopt with her brother Sherman Iris Eyeris is a loving, tender hearted no issues dog. She loves everyone and everything. She loves to run and play. Her feelings get hurt if you won’t give her attention. She came from a breeding situation and was in bad shape when her current owner adopted her. She is the most loving dog ever. She has never been an only dog and with her need for affection she needs another dog in the house, even if it is a small one. She does get a little separation anxiety when you leave the house and she’ll get wound up. Her current owner doesn’t crate her, and crating may keep her from getting into any mischief while you’re gone. She will eat your shoes if you leave them where she can get them. She has a passion for sandals. She loves to sleep with you and she’s a great sleeper. If Iris really needs to potty and there is a pee pad down, she will pee on the pad. She never misses. Using the pee pad is rare though and she would rather pottie outside. She would love to be adopted with her brother Sherman if possible, but we understand that we may need to separate them.
