Jovi is a sweet, soulful 4 year old, 21 lb Miniature Labradoodle who just wants a person to call his own. He’s a gentle, shy boy at first, more of a “take it slow and let me come to you” kind of guy, but once he feels safe, his loving personality starts to shine. He enjoys being near his person, with a little personal space at first, and builds trust in the most heart melting way, on his own time, with quiet loyalty and soft affection. Jovi does well with other dogs, though he does best with ones who respect his space when he needs it. He walks on a leash but may need a little patience in new places as he gains confidence. He settles nicely in his crate after a few minutes and is learning his house manners. He currently wears a belly band as he continues working on marking behavior (he was JUST neutered); he’s trying, and progress takes time. Jovi would thrive in a calm, understanding home with a fenced in yard (he won't potty on leash right now), a confident dog buddy preferred but not required, and a patient human who is home often. A quieter, adult-only environment is ideal for him. This boy has so much love to give; he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and watch him blossom. Rehoming our beloved dog Chanson – must go with his best friend Aria ($75 total)Meet Chanson, born June 6, 2020.He is our first dog and has been a wonderful part of our family. Chanson is smart, a big food lover, loves being petted, and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is crate-trained, friendly with both dogs and kids, and has a gentle personality.He does have a mild food allergy. Our vet recommends feeding him lamb instead of chicken.Unfortunately, our young daughter has developed an allergy to Chanson. It has become very difficult to keep our little one safe while still giving Chanson the happy, active life he deserves at home. Because of this, we have to rehome him.Chanson’s best friend is Aria, our purebred Shiba Inu (who originally cost us $1,600). The two of them grew up together and are deeply bonded. She’s the quieter, more mellow one of the pair and is perfectly content simply lying at your feet just to be close to her people. When she’s happy, she loves hopping onto the bed or couch and rolling around for attention—often with all four paws in the air! Maggie is a serious cuddler and loves being petted, especially behind her ears and getting belly rubs. And she’s not shy about letting you know when she’d like a little more attention. If you stop petting her before she’s ready, she may gently tap your hand with her paw or nudge it with her nose. She’s also food motivated and thinks healthy treats are wonderful. Mocha is deeply bonded with her little sister, Maggie, and these two girls must be adopted together. They have been inseparable for all three years of their lives and have never been apart. Mocha is definitely the more outgoing of the two and is often the one leading the way, with Maggie happily following along. If Mocha wants some love, she doesn’t simply tap your hand like Maggie does. Nope! Mocha will wrap both front legs around your arm and pull you right in. She absolutely adores pets, cuddles, belly rubs, and being close to her people. She’s also protective of her little sister and her humans, always keeping an eye on the ones she loves.
