Story
Name is Tora she is 4 years old (estimated birthdate from rescue data 12/2019), 44lbs and won't get any bigger. She is spayed and up to date with most shots but still needs her most recent rabies vaccine. Tora is incredibly smart, loyal and loving. She does have a bad habit of jumping to greet people so that will need some training. Tora does well with kids and other dogs but is wary when meeting new males. She is very energetic and down for adventure. She is a bit of a scaredy cat with loud noises like fireworks and she doesn't care for the dark. She is crate trained for sleep, she loves her little safe spot. She will make an amazing new friend. We hate to remove her but we have started to care for my mother in law with Alzheimers Dementia and had to move her into our home. Tora has more energy than my MIL can handle and it has become a safety concern for us. She needs a family that can dedicate the time, effort, and energy into her and we unfortunately cannot give that at this time.

Story
Hello! Star here! I’m formerly Esme, but being such a bright personality, Star just makes more sense. I am 3 years old and got my jail break last month from a very scary shelter in Devore, CA. I wasn’t going to make it out of there alive, BUT these nice hoomans saved me and so, the rest is history! Some fun things to know about me…I prefer dogs my own size, (I truly adore my foster sisters who are the same size as me, and all different ages too!) but no small dogs, cats or children under age 12 please. My crate is not my best friend, however I’m learning quickly that’s where I get my favorite thing…FOOD! (I was pretty skinny before I was rescued.) I bond really fast and would thrive in a home where we can be home together most of the time! I’m highly intelligent and learn by about the second-third try (so that requires proper guidance techniques!) I just need a savvy adopter who gets me since I love to learn and would make a great companion animal! I also do best with a routine…I’ve never had one before but knowing I will get yummy food and a soft bed helps me day in and day out to feel safe and just be happy with you! Winter is arriving and I’ve been told by my foster family that I am the best snuggler (besides a few snores.) If you are home, where I can be warm and hang out with you most of the time, just imagine the cuddles we could have! I would so love to be a lapdog or just rest beside you while you get your things done around the house. It would be my dream come true to never feel lonely again, by your side. Could you be my forever?

Story
Hi, I’m Tyson and I’m a pretty laid back guy who wants to be your one and only furry best friend. I do okay in the same room with other dogs, but they kind of intimidate me and make me nervous, so I would prefer to get all your love and attention if possible. I am a little nervous when I first meet new people but I warm up quickly and will become your best buddy in no time. I’m about 6 years old and some of my favorite pastimes are playing out in the yard, chewing on dog toys/bones, and getting back rubs. My human foster siblings are under 5 years old and I just love them! I am gentle and a good listener, not to mention I love to snuggle. I’m pretty easy going and while I love to get attention from my humans, I’m also content just hanging out and chilling. Can I be your new best friend? - About 6 years old - Neutered & up to date on shots - Prefer to be the only dog - Great with kids of all sizes - Great listener & knows basic commands - The best snuggler

Story
Hi! I'm Alix and I am looking for my forever home! My foster mom says I have a lot of energy, but once I calm down I just want all the pets and cuddles! I spent quite some time in the shelter so I can be a bit anxious, but I love going on adventures because it helps me get my anxiety out. I feel most safe when my foster dog sister is around, so I would love to have another dog with me to help with my confidence! I am extremely treat-motivated so I learn very easily as long as there is a treat involved! I still need some training due to being in the shelter so young (I am only 1 year old after all); thus, I would need a forever home with someone who is dog-savvy and wants to teach me a bit. I need slow introductions to adult humans and would do best in a home without human children. I am scared of small animals like cats. I am also not a huge fan of runners and bikers when I go on my walks. I am, however, potty and crate-trained. I also walk well on a leash! Once I relax and get to know you, I will give you sooo much love. Let’s meet and hang out- then maybe you can take me home! Facts about Alix -1 year -anxious (but on medicine) -dog friendly -shy around humans -energetic -loving
