✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Kuku🧡 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Kuku is one of the puppies of #AdogsDanpoong. During one freezing winter, Danpoong gave birth to five puppies at a shelter and was soon diagnosed with mange. Adogs urgently rescued the family. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Loves people and greets familiar ones with kisses. Allows people to lightly touch him, but he only allows stronger physical affection when he’s feeling happy. Is on guard with unfamiliar people and when people make quick movements, he may bark and reject treats. With a slow and gentle approach, he opens up quickly. * With Dogs: Tends to get along with most dogs, even playing with new dogs easily. Is indifferent to dogs who don’t engage but approaches those who show interest in him. * With Cats: Calm around still cats and gently sniffs them, but has a lot of curiosity and tries to chase cats that run away. Might try to fight back against aggressive cats, so caution is necessary to avoid cats. * Separation Anxiety: None. Plays or naps peacefully when alone. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but is 100% trained using indoor pee pads too. * Hygiene: Doesn’t enjoy baths but tolerates them well. Is very good with brushing and toothbrushing. Is afraid of nail trimming, nipping in fear, so walks are used to keep nails short. * Walks: Goes for walks with double leashes. During walks, we are also working on recall training. Except in situations where someone suddenly approaches and startles him, he remains calm and focused when called by name, and comes toward his handler. Has become more accustomed to walking and no longer reacts to passing birds or cats. * Car Sickness: Experiences motion sickness after about 15 minutes. It’s best to avoid feeding him right before car rides. * When Kuku doesn’t want to do something or he feels threatened, he bites in defense. Also bites if he gets startled by strangers who immediately approach to touch him, or if being forced to wear a leash, so you should approach slowly and carefully. * Is a bit gluttonous and may growl when people touch his favorite treats. Sometimes barks in fear when he hears a sudden or unfamiliar noise, but calms down quickly. * Loves treats. Comes running, sits and waits in anticipation once he hears the opening of the fridge. Loves playing tug, too! * Expresses discomfort by baring teeth if picked up or touched against his will. * Is a genius who has mastered 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'nose' and 'V,' and understands the difference between right and left paws! * Expresses himself differently depending on his mood. Freely accepts human touch on good days, but shows that he doesn’t want to be touched on bad days. However, he really likes treats and playing tug so he can be won over easily.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Namu🌳 (Namu means tree in Korean) 💙 Name: Namu 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 5 years old (Born in May 2021) 💙 Weight: 11.4 kg / 25.1 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1. Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and hearworm negative. * Was treated for a bladder infection, so care is needed to make sure he drinks enough water. 2. Rescue Story * Namu was staying at the Gimje City Shelter, where the facilities were beyond capacity. Namu was at risk of being put down while staying in such a crowded place. The Adogs team rescued him in time. 3. Basic Information * With People: Is shy and tends to avoid unfamiliar people. Even with familiar people, he doesn’t go around asking for pets but allows himself to be touched if you approach slowly in his kennel. Though he usually avoids human touch, once you actually pet him, he takes it quite well. * With Dogs: Approaches unfamiliar dogs to sniff and say hi first. However, he sometimes tries to establish dominance or growl, occasionally showing aggressive behaviors so caution is needed. He gets along well with familiar dogs. * With Cats: Shows some aggression towards cats, so careful monitoring is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet, since he resides with other dogs as a group at our center. * Potty Training: Only potties outdoors at our center. * Hygiene: Takes baths very well. Avoids brushing but doesn’t resist it. Gets a bit nervous during toenail trimming but makes no big fuss. * Walks: Is still a bit uncomfortable with the leash and tries to avoid it. Is stubborn and doesn’t want to walk in the beginning, but once he’s outside, he does very well! * Car Sickness: Is still unknown, so further observation is needed. * Biting: Growls as a warning sign if unfamiliar dogs get in his face, and may bite defensively if they don’t stop. If other dogs show interest in his food, he punches at them with his muzzle, signaling for them to stay away. * Barking: Has a tendency to bark, and sometimes barks at other dogs. * Likes: Loves eating. Is a gentle eater who takes treats carefully if you drop them in front of him. Using treats is a great way to build trust and become fast friends with him. However, he may show threatening action to other dogs if they approach during meal times, as if saying not to come close to him. So caution is needed. * Dislikes: Is uncomfortable with being picked up or approached suddenly. Needs time to slowly open up his heart! * Personality: Is quiet and fearful of people, but is energetic and lively with his doggy friends.
