🐾 Luka’s Story… and His Second Chance 💔➡️❤️ My name is Luka… and I’m still trying to understand how I ended up alone in a park. One day, I had a family. The next, I didn’t. I was scared, confused, and waiting for someone who never came back. When I was brought to the shelter, everything felt loud and overwhelming. I didn’t know who to trust. But somehow, the volunteers saw something in me. They gave me gentle words, soft pets, and hope when I didn’t have any left. They fought for me… and they saved my life. Now I’m in a foster home, and for the first time in a long time, I feel safe. I’ve learned what it means to relax, to play, to love again. And I have so much love to give. I’m just a baby—about 10 months old, an American Bully, around 50 lbs—with a heart that still believes in people. I’ll follow you from room to room just to be close. I’ll rest my head on you when you’ve had a long day. I’ll greet you like you’re the best thing in the world… every single time. 🚨 GAMBINO URGENTLY NEEDS A NEW FOSTER 🚨 📍 Los Angeles | San Pedro | Redondo | South Bay | Southern CA Hi, I’m Gambino — and I need your help! I was abandoned on the streets of Los Angeles, dodging cars and surviving on scraps. I was picked up and taken to the shelter so my “owner” could find me… but no one came. The shelter was terrifying. I was so scared I stopped eating and became dangerously thin. I was placed on the euthanasia list. Then a kind family stepped in and saved me. They nursed me back to health and showed me what love feels like. Unfortunately, their resident dog isn’t comfortable with me, so I urgently need a new foster home. Boarding is not an option. I don’t do well in kennel environments and may stop eating again.
