Meet Kirby! Kirby is an 8-year-old, neutered Pit Bull mix with a sweet soul and an adventurous streak. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and does great at home—whether you’re relaxing solo or hosting visitors.
Kirby is the kind of dog who makes everyday life better. He loves going on hikes, splashing and playing in streams, and then coming home to cuddle up and recharge. He’s gentle with both kids and adults, rides nicely in the car (and yes—he’ll sit in the passenger seat like a little person), and has successfully lived with cats. In fact, he’s been known to happily snuggle on a dog bed with feline friends.
Kirby has been adopted twice before and returned through no fault of his loving nature. In one home, he got into a disagreement with the resident dog over tennis balls. In another, a family’s circumstances changed after welcoming a newborn. Because of that, Kirby would thrive with an adopter who can set him up for success—especially with clear boundaries around high-value toys like tennis balls.

Kirby is located in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area, out of state adoption is possible.
