Story
We found Dui a little over 3 years ago roaming the streets near us, almost starved and in poor health. We were able to bring him into our house with our other dog (also a rescue) and immediately fell in love with him. He has grown into a healthy, active young dog. We did a DNA test and found that he is 60% pit bull, 17% Chihuahua, 9% boxer, and 14% "SuperMutt". He is strong, loves to play tug of war, and loves to run. He is a bit jumpy when meeting someone (and shakes a bit probably due to the Chihuahua in him). But, he calms down fairly quickly. He loves to snuggle, whether on the couch or on the bed. He loves the heat, laying outside in the sun on our back deck or in front of the fireplace during the winter. He shows concern for my wife when she's not feeling well. He may be afraid of bigger dogs due to early trauma before we met him. We'd love to keep him in moving, but he's really too strong for my wife (due to health issues) and we're afraid it would be too cold for him up north.
