This handsome boy may be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet and affectionate nature truly shines. Oso has a calm demeanor and carries himself like a proper prince—often relaxing peacefully and enjoying a quiet environment. Oso has done well with other dogs, making him a potential fit for a multi-dog home. His history with cats is unknown, so slow introductions would be recommended. Due to his initially reserved nature, he will need a patient and understanding adopter who can give him the time and space he needs to build trust. Our team has been working closely with Oso prior to making him available for adoption, and he has been making steady progress. With continued guidance, consistency, and a calm home environment, Oso is expected to continue gaining confidence and flourish. Ideal Home: • Patient adopter willing to go at his pace • Calm, structured environment • Understanding of shy or reserved dogs • Potential for another friendly dog companion Oso is a truly special dog who just needs the right person to help him feel secure and loved. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- AGGIE/AGNES IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR PET.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.Agnes/Aggie is essentially the dog version of Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. She hails from the streets of Houston, TX, where she was found wandering, an unfortunately common scenario in that area. Agnes is a truly special pup in need of a fresh start with defined boundaries so that she can enjoy the world of meeting new dogs again. Aggie is sweet, silky soft, and relishes in snuggles and being close to people in general. She is very food motivated (albiet a sensitive tummy to chicken & abrupt changes in diet) and has decent recall skills (fears missing out so she always came right back whenever she had snuck out). We are confident that with consistent training, leadership and continued love, Aggie can be an excellent addition to your 'ohana' (family). Agnes is currently living in Baltimore.
