Story
Meet Maurizio! (Pronounced mow-REET-zee-oh)Maurizio`s gorgeous stature matches his handsome personality! He`s full of love and would love to begin his new journey in life with you! Weighing 56 pounds he will take up some room on your couch or bed but his snuggles will make up for that. Maurizio`s ready for any activity your up for from long walks, hikes, running around in the yard or just chillin` on the couch binging Netflix! He`s 4 years old so he`s more mature than his other counterparts here at the shelter. We don`t know a ton about his history because he arrived as a stray from a local animal control. We can say that he`s a fast learner and would enjoy learning some crate training, loose leash walking just about whatever you want to teach him he`s ready to learn! If this dude sounds like the guy for you please drop by our Boston branch during our regular adoption hours. He`ll be waiting for you!My friends describe me as: sweet, handsome and affectionate!Mauriziois currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Maurizioor any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
MEET LABUBU!Looking for an adorable shepherd puppy? Meet Labubu! She’s incredibly cute, with a soft coat and a smart, lively personality. Bursting with energy, she’s always eager to play, learn, and explore, making her a wonderful match for an adopter familiar with puppy antics and committed to patient training, daily exercise, and mental stimulation. She’s currently working on clicker training for house manners, “sit,” and “down,” and does great in her crate overnight as long as you’re in the room with her, though she’s still learning to be calm when left alone. She’d thrive in a home with a tolerant, large dog who can match her playful spirit, but she’s not suited for families with small children, as her enthusiastic zoomies might knock over anything lighter than she is. She’s endlessly curious, and with a loving, engaged adopter, she’ll blossom into a loyal and intelligent companion. My friends describe me as: Energetic, Affectionate, AdventurousLabubu is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Labubu or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Older children only (16+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesYou’ve heard of the Great Houdini, but without further ado, allow us to introduce the Great Santini!Unlike Houdini, the only trick Santini will pull is wiggling her way into your heart.Santini is a wonderful dog that has spent the last few months refining her training skills. Santini has excellent manners and is house trained and crate trained. She would love to show off everything she has learned including sit, stay, down, and heel (for a treat of course)! Santini is happy to fit into her humans' routine and picks up quickly on new commands. She is very accommodating, walks well on a leash, and corrects/redirects easily. Santini loves to play, but is also happy to hang out with her people around the house.Santini would do best as the only dog in the house with an experienced dog owner who can maintain consistent boundaries and expectations to help her succeed and feel reassured. She is an athletic gal who loves to chase after balls and show off her signature ‘hopping prance’. She would love to have a fenced in yard or a local fenced in area so she can show off her moves! When she has finally expended all of her energy you can find her searching for the best sunbathing spot to take a snooze in. Santini is a sweet, gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be loved and make you laugh with her goofy antics. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at www.lasthopek9.org.November 9, 2025, 11:56 pm
