Story
Mama Minibyte arrived at a shelter as a terrified stray and delivered her puppies shortly after. Rescue stepped in so she and her babies could be safe, supported, and cared for in a foster home. With her puppies now adopted, Mini is beginning her own journey of decompressing and rebuilding confidence. She is slowly learning what it means to feel secure, accept gentle affection, and relax in a home environment. Mini will be spayed and further evaluated as she continues to settle, so we can match her with the best possible home when she is ready. • Best for a calm, patient home that understands decompression • Progressing steadily in foster care All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment. A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required. Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. We do not adopt animals to Canada. For more information or to submit an application, please visit www.pmarinc.org. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Transport options available. Adoption fee applies.  If interested go to www.pmarinc.org for an application. Story
Max has been in rescue for over two years and has made tremendous progress during that time. When he first arrived, he was very dependent on his former housemate and needed time to learn how to feel secure and confident on his own. With structure, training, and consistency, Max has grown into a well-adjusted, social dog who understands his basic commands and does well around other dogs. Max is friendly and affectionate, good with children, and may be suitable for a home with a dog-savvy cat. He is not comfortable walking on a leash and will require a secure, fenced yard where he can safely exercise and relax. Max is around 7 years old, neutered, fully vetted, microchipped, and ready for adoption. After waiting patiently for the right match, he is looking for a home that will offer him stability, understanding, and a commitment for life. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.  Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies.  Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England.  Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada.  Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
