She can be a bit sensitive when meeting new friends and prefers to take things at a slower pace, but with patience and respect, her true personality begins to shine.Waddles is interested in new dogs, but doesn`t seem to want to live with another dog in her forever home. She shows potential to coexist with visiting dogs, but she would prefer to be the only animal in her forever home. Because of her sensitive nature, Waddles would do best in a home with older children only. Kids ages 13 and up should understand how to respect her boundaries, as she does not enjoy excessive handling. Waddles is very intense with small animals, so she cannot live in a home with cats. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who values quiet moments and a gentle approach, Waddles may be the perfect fit. Sweet but sensitive in nature, Achilles may take a little longer than the average pup to warm up to new people and places, but once he does, he transforms into a bouncy happy pup. Playful and sweet, Achilles is equal parts activity and affection. He loves chewing on a squeaky toy as much as he enjoys spending time with his favorite humans.Achilles shows potential to live with other pups in his forever home, however he will need a slow introduction as he can come on to his canine companions quite strong. A slow intro will help ensure that both Achilles and his new pup pal feel safe and comfortable as they adjust to each other`s presence. Say hello to Peter! He is a 4 year old American Pitbull Terrier who weighs 60 pounds. Peter is a sensitive boy at heart who likes to take his time getting to know new people, but after a few minutes he is eager to come over from some chin scratches. He enjoys spending time right by your side and is always looking for a comfy couch to lay on. He has been in a few foster homes and is described as a couch potato who loves a good nap! Peter shows potential to live with another dog, but he would need a slow intro since he is nervous at first. He also shows potential to live with cats, given a slow and thoughtful introduction to ensure success.
