Story
💙 Hi friends, I’m Tippy—but you can just call me Tip! 🐾 I’m about 5 years old, sweet as sugar, and yes… I’m a tripod! 🐘 Let’s just get that out of the way. I may be missing a leg, but I don’t need a “pitty” party—I just need a forever home. 🏡 I can run, zoom, and play with the best of them. In fact, I’m lightning fast 💨 (I just don’t have a front brake… so I do a cute little tuck-and-roll stop. You’ll laugh every time, I promise 😉). I’m also a pitbull—not a Rottweiler, I know! 🙃 But Halloween’s coming and I can be whatever I want 🎃👻. Honestly, all I want to be is your best friend. Here’s what I bring to the table: ✨ Sweet, cuddly girl who lives for belly rubs ✨ Great with kids 🥰 ✨ A world-class singer—I howl along to sirens like an angel 😇 ✨ Loyal, goofy, and full of love So why am I looking for a new home if I’m this amazing? Well… my family has loved me since I was just 6 months old. This is very hard on them, but over time I stopped getting along with my dog sister. We tried “family counseling” (training), but we just couldn’t work it out. My family finally realized it isn’t fair to keep us separate all the time, and they made the heartbreaking decision to find me the perfect new home. 💔 My dream family? ❤️ 👉 A home where I can be your one-and-only pup—or maybe live with a calm, submissive doggy brother. 👉 A yard where I can zoom and show off my amazing speed. 👉 Someone who will laugh at my silly antics, sing along with me, and love me for exactly who I am. The only things I’m missing right now are a forever home… and well, that one leg. But trust me, you’ll never miss it when you see how full of love my heart is. 🐾 If you think I could be your girl, please apply at realrottweilerrescue.com and send us a message once you’re approved. 📍 Fostered in Gahanna, OH 💙 Waiting (impatiently!) for my forever family.

Story
Hi! I’m Wren ♥️ Let me tell you my story 📚 I used to have a friend named Winnie 😔 Out on the streets, it was always me and her together. We slept curled up against each other at night because it was cold and scary, and we only had each other. She was sicker than I understood, but I stayed close anyway. She was my safety, my family, my whole world 🌎 People finally tried to help us. They fought for Winnie 😔 They rushed her to emergency care and hoped maybe love had found us in time. But sometimes life is cruel to dogs who have been forgotten for too long, and Winnie didn’t make it. She did get to experience six days of a warm home and love 🥹 I don’t really understand where she went. I just know one minute she was beside me, and then suddenly I was alone 😔 After Winnie died, I ended up at the shelter. Loud noises, strange people, and so many barking dogs, I was terrified. I kept waiting for her to come back for me, but she never did 💔 That’s when they decided to save me too. They named me Wren, but the truth is I think I’m here because people saw how much Winnie mattered. They didn’t want her story to end with both of us being lost. So in honor of her, they tagged me and promised my life would mean something too 🥹 I’m safe now. I am fully vetted, I am fed, I am warm. But I’m still learning how to stop being afraid all the time 🥺 I’m very shy when I meet new people. I want to trust you, I really do, but the world hasn’t always been kind to me. Sometimes I hang back and just watch quietly, trying to figure out if I’m safe. But if you are patient with me, something soft begins to happen. I’ll start following you from room to room. I’ll lie nearby just because being close to you feels nice. I’ll look at you with my whole heart once I realize you aren’t going to hurt me. I like other dogs. They make me feel calmer. I’m gentle, quiet, and honestly just looking for a place where nobody expects me to be perfect right away ♥ I know I’m not the easiest dog in the world 😔 I may not run into your arms the first day we meet. I may need time to learn what love feels like when it’s safe and permanent. But I promise once I trust you, I will love you in the quietest, deepest way. I survived the streets. I survived losing Winnie. Now I’m just hoping there’s someone out there who will choose me 🥹 Not because they pity me, but because they see me. Maybe Winnie’s story is the reason mine gets to continue ♥️ Love, Wren

Story
I’m Meadow 🌿 I’m about 2 years old and I’m a soft, sweet pittie girl 💕 I like to act a little shy at first, but honestly I’m mostly just checking to see if you pass the vibe check 😌 Once I know you’re nice, prepare to never be alone again. I follow my humans around the house like it’s my full time career. I’m really good with other dogs 🐾 and honestly just want everyone around me to feel peaceful and safe. I’m not one of those wild party girls. I’m more of a let’s sit on the couch type 🛋️ I love walks and stay close to my person the whole time. I’m crate trained too, although I may whine a little because being separated from you for even five minutes feels rude and unnecessary 😒 I don’t really know much about toys yet. Nobody may have ever shown me how to play before. But chew bones I am obsessed. Certified bone collector 🦴 And today I discovered watermelon exists and I would just like to personally thank whoever invented that 🍉 One thing about me, I KNOW what a couch is. I hop right up like a little professional cuddler because at some point in my life, I had a home 😔 Sadly, I was abandoned at a park and left behind 💔 But somehow I still love people with my whole heart anyway. Even at the shelter, everyone adored me so much they kept fighting to keep me safe because they knew I was a really special girl. The only thing dangerous about me is how aggressively I will try to cuddle you during your pity party 😂 just kidding I’m not aggressive even doing that So if you’ve been looking for a clingy, couch loving, watermelon eating, emotional support pittie to be your tiny shadow for life, you know what to do….. 😏 apply for me! HOPE TO CYA SOON! 🥹
