Whether it’s running, hiking, or playing fetch, I’m always up for an adventure by your side. I thrive on human connection and would love to be your constant companion. Let’s explore the great outdoors together! My tail wags like crazy when I’m excited, which is pretty much all the time when I’m with you! The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I prefer to be the only dog in the house. I’m not always the best at playing with other pups and I don’t like cats, so a solo spot in your heart would make me happiest! I would be great with children over 10! I’m eager to learn and thrive on positive reinforcement training! I know a few basic commands already and with your guidance and some tasty treats, I can master lots of new tricks and behaviors. I can’t wait to show you what I can do! My adoption fee is $240 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Meet Flacko ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Flacko is a neutered , 8 month old male German Shepherd Dog mix, weighing around 40lbs. He is in a foster home in Houston , TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. Handsome Flacko is a a certified good boy! He LOVES people, dogs and really wants the foster cat to be his buddy. He may have too much enthusiasm for most kitties to enjoy however. He’s a quick learner & he just wants to please you. All he’s missing now is his forever person! This energetic pup is a bit of a wild man when playing with his dog friends (15-60lbs), but is great at reading their cues and respecting their boundaries. Flacko got an A++ from Doggie Daycare Playgroups and enjoys snuggling with a smaller puppy friend. Flacko has been great with his foster’s 10 year old nephew and they feel he’d enjoy a human sibling to play with. He is working on his puppy manners, jumping and pulling on a leash, so would need to be supervised around the smaller kiddos. After a rollicking play session, Flacko loves getting cuddle time with his people, rolling over to show his belly! He is a HUGE fan of pool time and will entertain himself with his favorite toys. This good boy is house and crate trained and will flourish with an experienced adopter that will help him navigate the world with confidence. Flacko is ready to win your heart, and we can’t wait to watch him grow up in a loving forever home! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
