Here's what you need to know about me:I'm not on the general adoption floor. You might not see me when you come to visit. So please speak to an adoption counselor if you'd like to meet me.I know some basic commands. I might know tricks like "sit" or "shake." When you meet me, one of my shelter friends can help demonstrate my skills!I need a slow introduction to cats. I can share my space with cats, but I'd like to get used to the idea over time.I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.I may jump and play rough. I don't mean to, I just get really excited when I play!I'd like a home where my family is home often. I'm just really social and love spending time with people, I prefer to not be left alone for long periods. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 88.4 Age: 2yrs 2mths 3wks

Story
I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them:He's super sweet and loves to be around and cuddle with his people. Zeus likes to play catch and get belly rubs. He's super polite, a gentle treat taker, and loves to go for walks.I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable. But once I get to know you, I'm very loving.I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.I'd like a home where my family is home often. I'm just really social and love spending time with people, I prefer to not be left alone for long periods.I need a single-family home. Attached homes and apartments aren't the right fit for me. My friends at the shelter can tell you more about my needs.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor.I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me, please email caninefoster@southwesthumane.org Primary Color: Brown Weight: 67 Age: 7yrs 2mths 2wks
