Story
I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable. But once I get to know you, I'm very loving. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I'm not on the general adoption floor. You might not see me when you come to visit. So please speak to an adoption counselor if you'd like to meet me. Story
I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.Hi, I'm Arrow!I can be a little shy when meeting new people and loud noises scare me a little. Give me some time though, and you'll see me melt like a gooey marshmallow. I'm happiest stretched out beside my people, soaking up belly rubs and keeping them company.I love walks, get excited when my humans come home, and sometimes forget my manners in my excitement. But I'm working on that! My foster mom says I'm a bit of a Velcro dog because I like to be a part of whatever they are doing.I'm looking for a home where I can settle in, feel safe, and be someone's loyal sidekick. If you're looking for a companion who will wait loyally for you to come home and who will always save you a spot on the couch, I might be your girl.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor.I need to be the only dog in my new home. Sharing my home and stuff with another dog just isn't for me, but I might be able to have play dates with dogs I'm friends with! My human friends at the shelter can tell you more.>I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me, please email caninefoster@southwesthumane.org Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 50 Age: 2yrs 6mths 1wks

Here's what you need to know about me:I'm easy going. Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.
