I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.Here's what you need to know about me:Hi I'm Cleo!I'm a young playful girl with the sweetest face and I like to do little tippy taps with my paws when I get excited! I can be a little shy when you first meet me, but toys and treats will help me feel more comfortable.I'm an active dog! But don't worry - I'm not go-go-go all the time. My favorite thing is a long, slow, sniffy walk where I can stop to smell the roses. It helps me stay calm. But when it's time for adventure? I'm all in. Camping, hikes, cave exploring (maybe?) - I'd be your loyal sidekick through it all!I learn really fast! My shelter friends have worked with me on all sorts of things, like leash skills, checking in when I see birds or small animals, learning to keep "4 on the floor" and learning to be patient while I wait for a treat and they say I learn really fast when using positive training methods.I love to snuggle! Underneath all my playful energy, I am also very snuggly. I love when my favorite people sit with me to cuddle after our walks.I'm ready to learn! Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours.I have some handling sensitivity. That means I have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!I can be nervous around new people. It just takes me a little while to get comfortable. But once I get to know you, I'm very loving.I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things.
