Apply at www.streetsavvydogrescue.org. URGENT SITUATION! Star, a dog adopted from Street Savvy Dog Rescue at least 6 yrs ago has turned up AGAIN Roaming the streets last seen with a homeless person. Back in July, we were having trouble getting hold of her owner and finally made the connection and returned her to him. Now we are experiencing a repeat of not being able to get an answer back from him despite repeated calls and texts. Sniff Daycare @sniffdoghotel kindly took her in overnight last night but we had to get her into our foster program and she is not doing well with other dogs in a not very large home with too little enough space to keep her separated properly from the resident three dogs and two cats! IMMEDIATE TEMP FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Star is great with people! TEXT 971-303-9415 THANK YOU COMMUNITY MEMBERS! Streetsavvydogrescue.org

Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd Mix 8 months old Female 41 pounds Kids · 5+ Dogs · Yes Cats · Dog-savvy cats Turn around, bright eyes… Turn around…Every now and then I know you’ll train me to be the girl you want me to be. But every now and then I know I will cry if you are not around. Every now and then I know there’s no one in the universe as magical and wondrous as you, but playing with other dogs, respectful kids 5+, and dog-savvy cats is pretty great too. Every now and then I should spend some time in my crate—like while you’re away at work—but I’ll be okay with that because soon you’ll be home and I know there’s nothing better than being by your side, there’s nothing that I wouldn’t do for you. A total eclipse of the heart. Turn around, bright eyes… Turn around, bright eyes, turn around and come adopt me! Astro is located in Houston, Texas and is available for transport to this area. Astro is 2-3 years old. He is very sweet and friendly with people and so far has done very well with smaller dogs he’s been around. He gets a little nervous around other big dogs so we are taking it slow with him. He is very affectionate and just wants to be by people all the time. He doesn’t know any strangers and is getting work with in a foster home on basic obedience, leash walking and kennel/potty training and has done very well so far. He has been neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for heartworms. If you would like more info please email westhoustonanimalrescue@gmail.com

currently 4yrs old. We’ve had Roxy since she was a puppy. We’re hoping someone can adopt her as we will be moving to a smaller home. Roxy spends most of her time relaxing or running outside. When she’s inside, she prefers to be cuddled or near you (or else she rather be outside). She gets along with dogs but may bark a lot initially. Sometimes she likes to howl/sing (like when we play the flute near her). She is very intelligent, protective, gentle and kind with family/kids/cats. Roxy has never been aggressive with any of us, so we know she’d be very accepting of a loving family.

Story
Hello everybody, I'm Ruby! My friends here call me quite the trooper because I've made incredible progress since arriving at the shelter! When I first got here, I wasn't feeling my best - my skin needed some serious TLC. But thanks to the amazing care from the staff at the shelter, my coat is now looking lovely and my skin is feeling so much better! 💗 I'm a fun-loving gal with a big heart, and I'm ready to find a special human or family to shower with my love and loyalty. I'll need a little time to get to know you and feel safe because new things can sometimes make me a bit nervous. But don't worry, my friends here can give you great tips for helping me settle in and overcome some of the fears I may have transitioning into my new home. 🏠 I'm a bit selective about my doggy friends, also showing some barrier reactivity as well and have prey drive seeing that I'm from the herding family. So a home without other pets might be the best fit for me. I will say, spoiling only me with all of the attention and endless playtime sounds pretty great 🥰 With some patience, understanding and more positive reinforcement training I can become the best dog companion you've ever had! Although I might need a little extra pampering due to my skin condition and would benefit from a teeth cleaning in the future, I am truly just the sweetest, most playful gal! If you're looking for a loving and resilient dog to share your life with, come meet me! I can't wait to start this new chapter with you. 💕 Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 57 Age: 5yrs 3mths 2wks

Story
Sable, a loving and confident five-year-old Belgian Malinois looking for a knowledgeable owner who understands her breed. Sable is a people-lover through and through, always seeking attention and affection from those around her. She came in as a momma dog, had 11 (!!!) puppies and is now looking for a home of her own. She is friendly towards strangers and walks well past other dogs when out and about. Her enthusiasm sometimes shows through in her greetings—she may jump up to show how happy she is to see you, but she takes corrections well and will listen when you tell her down. She’s also crate trained and will obey when you tell her to get in without whining. Sable's ideal home includes a backyard where she can roam, and she'll appreciate high fences to keep her safe and secure. She would do great in a home with a calm and easy going dog since she has a tendency to get overwhelmed with high energy. She would also be fine as the only pet in the home! A home without cats and smaller dogs is would be great for Sable. Since she can get excited meeting people, a house with older kids or no kids would be best! But a home with toys would be a dream for Sable! If Sable is anything, she is a happy girl that just wants loving! She will be loyal to you and stick by your side and offer affection at any time of the day! If you're ready to welcome an outgoing and loving companion into your life, Sable is eager to meet you and show you just how special she is. The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Looking for a serious, responsible, loving person to adopt this girl. She is a beautiful, loyal, lovey dog who is great in the home. She gets attached and loves her person. She needs a lot of exercise & attention. She is amazing in the home. She can stay alone in the home for a reasonable amount of time, she is crate trained, knows many commands, and is overall a smart & well mannered dog. She is a Belgian Malinois and a typical one, so those who are not familiar with this breed need to know all about this breed and know for sure that this is the breed for them. A new owner must be seriously prepared for the amount of exercise, training and attention this dog needs to be a great dog. We are looking to rehome her to someone who has a yard she can run in, play fetch, and someone who is willing to spend a lot of time with her.
