Story
Are you looking for a young, people-loving, dog-loving pup? Well, your search is over!
Meet Wishbone, a handsome young gentleman with lots and lots of love to give. This happy boy is incredibly friendly and greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and his contagious, goofy smile. He loves being around people and actively seeks out human interaction with youthful, puppy-like enthusiasm. He may occasionally pop up with excitement, but that’s just his way of saying, “Count me in!” He’s social, friendly, and always ready to join the fun.
Wishbone shows some interest in toys, although he hasn’t quite figured out the whole fetch thing yet. This sweet hambone takes treats gently for a youngster and absolutely loves any attention and affection his humans are willing to give him.
When he meets other dogs through the fence, Wishbone shows soft, loose excitement and a happy, wiggly body that seems to say, “I can’t wait to play!” He hasn’t learned his basic commands yet, so he’s still at the beginning of his training journey, but that just means his future family will have the fun of helping him learn and grow.
We think Wishbone would make a wonderful new buddy for an active adopter or a fabulous addition to a loving family. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, social pup who is ready to learn and give his whole heart to his people, Wishbone may be your guy!
*If you can see me, I'm still available! We prefer initial adoption steps to be done via email, this way we can answer any time of day. We also prefer an application submitted before scheduling a visit, but it's not required, an email conversation is great! If you don't have access to email, no worries. Please call 401 680 7591. We differ from other shelters by offering a one-on-one experience between you, our staff and the animal or animals you've chosen to become a new family member!
