Meet Kayda - She just showed up at the shelter parking lot one day and "turned herself in". She has survived heartworms and is believed to be healthy. She does have a special need - she cannot be around other dogs. There is nobody she doesn't like (two-legged), but we are yet to find a dog that she can play with. If you are looking for a one and only dog, have a very secure fenced yard, and no need to take her walking, etc. give this girl a chance.

Story
Brownie found herself in the shelter after her mom's health forced her to have to go into a health care facility leaving a house full of furbabies. Brownie is very overweight, nervous, and frightened. Even with all this, she is learning to trust the volunteers and welcomes pets. This sweet girl needs a soft spot to land. Please don't count out the senior dogs. They make the BEST pets!!

Story
Lacey arrived at the shelter after being picked up by Animal Control as a stray. She was picked up with a pup resembling her that may be her son. What we know about her now: very sweet, friendly with everyone, loves attention. She has been vaccinated, wormed, and will be spayed before any adoption is finalized. She will be heartworm tested soon.
