Story
Roger, a beautiful German Shepherd, was found in February injured and severely underweight on the side of a highway. Sadly, no one ever came forward to claim him. He was brought in from Animal Control and, after receiving the care he needed, was placed in a loving foster home where he has been able to fully recover and regain his strength. Now, Roger is ready to find the forever home he truly deserves. He is a neutered 3-year-old male weighing 73 lbs. He is house-trained, friendly with both people and other dogs, and fully vaccinated (DaPPvL, Rabies, Bordetella). He is heartworm negative and has been treated for worms and fleas/ticks. Roger also knows basic commands such as sit and stay! Roger is an incredibly social, loving boy with a gentle nature. He would make a wonderful addition to any family and is ready to give as much love as he receives. Spot is the adventurer of the pair and the first to figure things out. While his brother Bingo is still debating the stairs, Spot mastered them on his second try. He's curious about everything other dogs, toys, new places, and especially anything that looks remotely like a ball. He loves to play, explore, and make his own fun, but he's also a sweet pup who enjoys attention from his people. Spot gets along well with other dogs, has done great with cats, and has met children too.
