Howdy, y'all! It's me, Diesel, the ultimate Texas gentle dog. I'm a big ol' mix of Pit Bull Terrier, German Shepard, and Dumbo ears, serving looks and love in the Austin area. Let's get down to business: I'm a playful pup with a heart as big as this beautiful state, and I'm always up for a good time. My idea of a perfect day involves outdoor adventures, especially if there's water involved. I'm talkin' swimmin', splashin', and maybe even a little boat ride if you're feelin' fancy. But don't let my rugged good looks fool ya, I'm a sensitive soul who loves nothin' more than a good snuggle at the end of the day. In my two and 1/2 years on this earth, I've learned a thing or two. I'm crate trained, great on a leash, and I have excellent recall. I'm also a pro at giving kisses and catchin' balls. Oh, and did I mention I'm dog-friendly? I just love makin' new friends, both human and canine. I'm a people person, err, dog, and get along swimmingly with older kids, too. So, if you're lookin' for a loyal companion to join you on all your Texas-sized adventures, I'm your hound. I promise to keep you entertained, show you all the best swim. Currently being fostered in Austin Texas.

Hi! I’m Chase! I’m 4 years old, about 80 pounds, and I’m a German Shepherd who is pretty much up for whatever you’ve got planned. Things I love: Going for walks Playing with my dog friends All the food. ALL of it. Being outside and exploring Going places with my people A few fun facts about me: I was named after Chase, the German Shepherd from PAW Patrol. I’m a little suspicious of trash cans sitting along the road. You never know what those things are up to. I may be 80 pounds, but I'm a great leash walker and I never pull. I’ve had a few stops along the way before landing with Central Texas Ruffugees, and I’m really hoping my next stop is the one that sticks. I’m looking for someone who matches my youthful spirit and is ready to help me experience all the things — walks, adventures, new places, new smells, and everything else I haven’t gotten to do yet. Basically, I’m ready to make up for lost time. I just need someone who wants to do it with me. Would you give Chase a chance?

Story
Charlotte is 6 years old and an absolute sweetheart with her people. She loves cuddling on the couch, follows her favorite humans from room to room, and has done wonderfully with the children in her foster home, who are ages 10–18. Charlotte needs to be the only pet in her new home because she and her foster family's dogs have had fights even though they have had careful slow introductions. She can be nervous when meeting new people, especially men, and will do best with calm introductions. Once she feels safe, she is a very sweet, loving, and devoted companion. Charlotte has some minor seasonal allergies that her foster family has been managing with shampoo, and probiotics and her crate, beds, leashes, supplements, and toys can go with her. Charlotte is loved dearly but her foster family cannot keep her since she does not get along with their other dogs. They would love to find a home where she can relax and thrive as someone’s one and only pet.
