Story
Roux is a 9-month-old, big-hearted goofball with so much love to give. She’s playful, affectionate, and loves running around outside, chasing her tail, or soaking up all the belly rubs she can get.Roux can be fearful around new people, so she’ll need a patient adopter who’s willing to give her time to feel safe and build trust. Because of this, we’re looking for someone open to doing a few meet-and-greets before taking her home. Once she warms up, she’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and forms strong bonds with her person.She gets along great with medium-sized dogs and enjoys having a playmate, but she does tend to chase smaller dogs, so a home without small pets would be best.Roux is up to date on all vaccinations, potty trained, crate trained, and does well on a leash. She hasn’t been spayed yet and has not gone into heat.Roux would do best in a calm, understanding home that can help her build confidence at her own pace. In return, you’ll get a deeply loyal, loving companion.

Story
Rufus was taken in by my wife and I in early December. My wife met a person on social media asking for help with her dog. She needed a place to temporary keep her dog to stay/foster while she relocated out of state. Rufus's stay was only suppose to be for two weeks. She told my wife that she had made arranged to transport the dog over to her. However after the two weeks she completely cut off commutations with us leaving us to care for Rufus. We already have three other medium dogs and with Rufus it is a bit much for my wife who is disabled. Rufus is affectionate dog and loves attention but with our other dogs along with a cat it is hard to give Rufus all of the love and attention he deserves. Rufus is a real sweetheart, good with people and other animals. He is house broke and crate trained. He needs a little help with some of his basic comands but he is eager to please and with some attention he can be the great dog everyone wants.

Story
Scout is a 4-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix with a loyal heart and a lot of potential in the right home. She’s great with adults, house-trained, and previously completed professional training—she knows commands like sit, come, and place and responds well with consistency. Scout would do best in an adult-only home (or with older teens) with someone experienced in handling higher-energy, anxious dogs. She thrives with structure, routine, and regular exercise. Since our baby has become more mobile, Scout has shown increased anxiety, and we want to find her a home where she can feel safe and set up for success. She has so much love to give and will make a deeply devoted companion in the right environment.
