My brother recently lost his job and is unable to take care of Roux anymore. I am currently taking care of her but I have two dogs of my own so cannot keep Roux forever. She gets along and plays a lot with my medium sized dog but chases my small dog and I have to keep those two separated. Roux is a big goofy girl but can be skittish. She's about 6-7 months old and will need someone who can put some time and effort into training. She hasn't met too many new people and takes a bit to warm up to someone new, so it will likely take more than 1 meet and greet to get on her good side. She's a pretty chill dog, loves belly rubs, and very loyal. Up to date on shots, but hasn't been spayed. She knows basic commands. Still working on fully potty training, my brother used puppy pads with her. She does fine in a crate and she's pretty good with walking on a leash as well. I don't recommend households with small children or small dogs.

Tony is almost 2 years old and he is looking for a home with a backyard for him to play in because he loves running around. I like playing with random toys, but I like to destroy my toys. Tony loves attention and just wants to be loved and cared for. Tony is very active, loyal, friendly, and lovable. Tony is also crate trained, but likes to pull when walked on the leash. We just want Tony to be in a loving home with a yard that has time for him.

Story
Acyn is a very sweet 11 month old pitbull. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with pull toys and toys that makes sounds. He does not like to share his toys so he takes them to his rest area immediately after playing. He likes all of the attention but he doesn't demand it. He's ok stepping back until its his turn. He knows "sit" and he stays away from the food bowl until directed to eat. He loves his treats so he runs straight to his resting area to get them. He has to be on a leash when in an open area without a fence but he's very cautious. His new family needs to be able to have time to focus on him and play with him. He needs space to run around and having another pet for him to play with would be great but isn't required. Please be nice to him. He really is a sweet puppy.

Story
Rufus was taken in by my wife and I in early December. My wife met a person on social media asking for help with her dog. She needed a place to temporary keep her dog to stay/foster while she relocated out of state. Rufus's stay was only suppose to be for two weeks. She told my wife that she had made arranged to transport the dog over to her. However after the two weeks she completely cut off commutations with us leaving us to care for Rufus. We already have three other medium dogs and with Rufus it is a bit much for my wife who is disabled. Rufus is affectionate dog and loves attention but with our other dogs along with a cat it is hard to give Rufus all of the love and attention he deserves. Rufus is a real sweetheart, good with people and other animals. He is house broke and crate trained. He needs a little help with some of his basic comands but he is eager to please and with some attention he can be the great dog everyone wants.

All she wants is to be with her humans at all times. This sweet girl was found in a Lowe’s parking lot in south Texas. Unfortunately she was not microchipped and after many weeks and attempts to find an owner, no one came forward for her. Now she’s more than ready to be adopted into a home that will love her and keep her safe forever! This girl is very playful and loves fetch but can make her own fun out of anything! She would love an active home that can give her exercise or to learn a job to help her humans. She is good with dogs and currently lives with multiple other dogs in the finder’s home. She gets excited around cats and kids, so she will need some guidance/ training but very doable with her smart personality. Birdy is estimated about 1 year old and only 40 lbs. Cassie was left with my daughter by an acquaintance supposedly for two weeks in early December 2025. Then the acquaintance left town. Cassie has won our hearts with her sweet and smart disposition. She is about one year old and weighs 90 lbs. She has now been spayed, her shots are up to date and she is at a three week training facility (ending February 27). Cassie loves stuffed animals and playing fetch. I am 78 years old and live in a third floor apartment. While I have come to love this wonderful dog, she is too big for me at my age. Please adopt Cassie—she deserves a great home!
