UPDATE- Akoya has been moved to PETA to await her new home for the time being. She is the perfect angel when left at home alone. She curls up in her comfortable safe spot until your return. She loves to play, cuddle, hug and kiss. She is better paired with only dogs her size or bigger when playing and mid to late teens and adults only, as she tends to play rough, but is quick to apologize if she gets too rough. She is small for her hybrid breed and is super fast and strong. She would be in agility classes to see were she is best at course competition because she loves to learn and enjoys going to school. She is one who will win purses! She needs a caregiver with a big backyard for her to run and explore. She does not like to be confined but will put herself in time out if she thinks she did wrong. She is trained to potty inside and outside and she comes with all her pet belongings. Reach out to me to find out.

Meet Yves! Yves is active, affectionate, and playful! He walks well on a leash and likes to stop for a cuddle every now and again. Yves is motivated by food, sits politely, and accepts treats gently. He is playful with toys, especially stuffies, and likes to chase them - just don’t expect them to be returned. He adores having his belly rubbed and has gotten along well with other dogs while at the shelter. Yves would be a great addition to any family. Come in and meet him today!

Meet Esmeralda! Esmeralda is a 6-year old pittie-mix who is just as sweet as she is striking! She is an expert leash walker who will stick by your side. Esmeralda is strong but obeys direction very well. She is very gentle and will sit for treats. Esmeralda enjoys toys and can be quite playful when the mood strikes. She may be a little cautious in new environments and will look to you for reassurance. Did I forget to mention that she’s a cuddler? Esmeralda loves affection, both giving and receiving. She does have some arthritis in her back legs, so a chill adventure is best for this gal.
