Bella is a beautiful, intelligent, loving 4yo German Shepherd mix. She’s great on leash, whether walking loosely by your side or in a heel. She enjoyed basic training class, mastering commands like sit, down, and stay. Bella is eager to please, very smart, and picks up new commands quickly. She thrives with structure and would make a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys training & spending quality time with their dog. Bella would do best as an only pet or with very slow and supervised introductions to other animals. While she currently lives with two other dogs, she gets along well with only one and has shown aggression toward the other with one attack requiring stitches. Due to this, she’s best suited for a home where she doesn’t need to share her space with other pets or where the adopter has experience with carefully managing dog introductions. Bella is loving and loyal. If you’re looking for a smart trainable companion who loves going on walks, Bella might be for you!

Story
I am a 6 yr old male mixed breed. My owner passed away recently, and I’m looking for a new owner that will give me the attention I need. I do best with adults and grown children and I’m used to being the only dog, but love playing with dogs my size or bigger so I would love a buddy. My instinct is to chase small animals and can be a little scary with small children, so it’s not recommended that I am left alone with them. I do love my treats and I’m really smart and trainable, but sometimes I can test my boundaries, so I would do best with owners that are consistent with my training. I’m a great watch dog, I’m crate trained, leash trained, and I love going on walks. I love to run and play so a house with a yard is ideal. I can also be lazy and love to cuddle on the couch or lay at my owner’s feet. I’m up to date on all shots and checkups.

Story
4-year-old, 97 lb black and red German Shepherd who came to me in October 2025 after his previous family realized their fifth-wheel living situation without a yard or enough interaction wasn’t fair to him. Since then, he’s made wonderful progress. I’ve worked closely with my vet to manage skin issues, now well-controlled. He’s fully vaccinated, on regular flea/tick prevention, gets twice-weekly ear cleanings, takes Apoquel daily for environmental allergies, has been on a prescription diet while ruling out food triggers, and is allergic to chicken. Ruled out other major foods, just haven’t switched off yet. He’s a classic young Shepherd—smart, loyal, energetic, and eager to learn. He knows commands in both English and German and thrives with exercise, structure, and attention. He grew up with a cat and loves cats and cat-sized dogs. He enjoys people, fetch, running, learning new commands, squeaky toys, and cuddling—though he refuses to get on the couch!
