Story
Due to a generous donation Nicky’s adoption fee has been reduced to $500! He has been with the rescue for over a year and is still searching for his forever people. Meet Nicky! He is 1.5 years old and weighs 50lbs. He is good with other dogs and cats. No young kids, but good with dog savvy older children. Nicky is with a foster in Puyallup. From his foster: Are you looking for an easygoing adult dog who loves long walks and then wants to curl up on the couch for a movie? Nicky could be the one! At 1.5 years old, he has the striking shepherd look without the extra-large size. This playful pup would rather be with his people than other dogs, but will get along fine with a dog who respects his space. He enjoys time in the yard with a toy, exploring on walks, and lounging on his bed. Nicky is crate trained but can be trusted to be out of his crate. He understands basic commands like sit and down and is motivated by treats to learn more tricks. He rides well in the car and behaves nicely in public, though he doesn’t love it when other dogs approach him quickly. He can be a bit timid meeting guests in the home and needs slow, gradual introductions. Nicky has been patiently waiting for his forever family. Story
This is Ms. Mila. She was originally my neighbor’s puppy. I got her when she was 18 months when he moved away and couldn’t keep her. She gets along with other dogs but it’s personality dependent. We should meet at a park first if you have other dogs. She loves fetch, running, cheese, and couch snuggles. Herding is hard wired into her. Timid until she gets to know you and so affectionate. It’s hard to give her up but I cant have her and boyfriend’s female dog snapping at each other. If they got along I wouldn’t be writing this ad. Might fair better with a female owner possibly but is ok with men. Shes also good around children.
