Story
Meet Case!Case is a 13-month-old, petite pittie/boxer mix weighing in at just 38 lbs — the perfect pocket-sized companion with a giant heart. Saved from the euthanasia list in Modesto, CA, Case was tagged for rescue the night before his scheduled euthanasia. He patiently waited for his freedom ride and made his way up to Washington, where he is now settling into a local home while he waits for his forever family. Case is gentle, mild, and absolutely dog-obsessed. He LOVES to play with other pups and will thrive with a canine friend who matches his playful, sweet energy. He’s not a fit for a home with cats — this goofy boy thinks the “chase game” is way too fun. He also adores his ball and will happily carry it around like it’s his prized treasure. He’s fully vetted and ready to go: potty trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Case truly deserves a chance at the love and life he almost didn’t get. If you’re looking for a gentle, fun-loving companion with a heart of gold, Case is your boy. Adoption fee $500 www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2574302##

Story
Fred and Georgia were rescued from a shelter in Roswell, NM. They originally had an adoptive family lined up, so they stayed behind when their siblings—Ricky and Violet—traveled to the PNW. Unfortunately, that family backed out, leaving these two still searching for their chance. We’d love to help them find it. Both Fred and Georgia are potty trained and do great in their kitchen kennel (they only have accidents if left too long). They were also cat-tested and did well—just curious, with no signs of aggression. They love spending time outdoors and are surprisingly calm for 6-month-old pups. Their routine is simple: they come inside around 7pm and head back out around 6am. They’re adorable together but also live and interact comfortably with many other dogs, including small dogs. Fred is a total couch buddy who loves to hang out right by your side, while Georgia is more independent by nature. They are fully vetted, fixed, and have spent time around school-age children with great success. Fred and Georgia can be fostered or adopted together or separately. They are still in New Mexico, waiting for a foster or trial family in WA so they can make the trek to the Pacific Northwest and finally begin their new chapter. Adoption fee $500 or $900 for adoption of Fred and Georgia www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2581523##
