Story
Sasha is an 11-year-old Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a quietly joyful spirit. She enjoys the simple things in life—soft places to rest, kind companionship, and leisurely strolls where she can soak up the sunshine. While she may seem a bit reserved at first, Sasha truly comes alive outdoors, where her more upbeat, jovial personality shines through as she explores the world at her own pace.Sasha came to the shelter after the loss of her previous owner, and she may need a little time and patience to adjust to a new home, but she is incredibly sweet-natured and forms strong, meaningful bonds with her people. Once she feels safe and settled, her affectionate and loyal nature becomes clear.Sasha would do best in a calm, loving home where she can take her time settling in and be cherished for the wonderful companion she is. She’s well past the puppy stage and is simply looking for a peaceful place to spend her golden years, with someone who will appreciate her gentle presence and the quiet joy she brings. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
Meet Ooh-La-La, a 2-year-old-ish beauty with a name as fun as her personality. This 49-pound tan-and-white girl may be a shepherd or cattle dog mix (or a little bit of both), and she’s got that classic smart, observant energy to match. Ooh-La-La can be a bit shy and standoffish when you first meet her—she likes to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings. But give her a little patience and space, and you’ll see her blossom into a wiggly, playful, and affectionate companion who’s full of charm.Once she trusts you, Ooh-La-La is all about fun and connection—think happy zoomies, bright eyes, and a goofy, lovable streak. She’d do best in a home that understands her need for a gentle introduction to new things and can continue building her confidence. Because of her sensitive nature, she’s probably not the best fit for a home with small children. With the right person, though, Ooh-La-La will be an incredibly loyal and joyful companion—the kind of dog who makes you feel extra special once you’ve earned her heart. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas.
