Story
Rocco is a 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who came to us after being rescued from the Riverside Shelter. He’s incredibly sweet with a happy-go-lucky personality that fits just about anywhere. Rocco has been a star at our public events—he loves meeting new people and is especially gentle and patient with children. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Rocco would thrive in a home with another playful dog or kids to romp around with. As a Husky/Shepherd mix, he’ll do best with an active family and a yard where he can burn off energy, but he also knows when it’s time to settle down and relax. Rocco is truly the best of both worlds, and whoever adopts him will feel like they’ve hit the jackpot. This is Rocky, a sweet and friendly husky. He originally came from a family friend, and he’s about 4. Rocky is very social and loving, he does great with kids, other dogs, and new people. He has a playful, energetic personality, but he also loves to relax and hang out with his people. We are looking for a stable, caring home that can give him the time, exercise, and attention he deserves. Huskies are active dogs, so someone who enjoys walks, outdoor activities, or has a yard would be ideal. Rocky is loyal, affectionate, gentle, and loves to be included. We just want him to go to a home where he can be loved and treated like family.
