Story
Rocco is a 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who came to us after being rescued from the Riverside Shelter. He’s incredibly sweet with a happy-go-lucky personality that fits just about anywhere. Rocco has been a star at our public events—he loves meeting new people and is especially gentle and patient with children. He gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Rocco would thrive in a home with another playful dog or kids to romp around with. As a Husky/Shepherd mix, he’ll do best with an active family and a yard where he can burn off energy, but he also knows when it’s time to settle down and relax. Rocco is truly the best of both worlds, and whoever adopts him will feel like they’ve hit the jackpot. Story
Meet Zeus    This cheerful, carefree boy is guaranteed to steal your heart! Zeus is the second largest of Athena’s litter, and his love for mealtime is unmatched — he never misses a snack or a chance to fill his round little belly. True to his fun-loving nature, he’s also known for his quirky habit of finding the most unusual spots to snooze, from tucked corners to sunlit patches on the floor.   His chocolate and cream coat is as sweet as his personality, and he’s always ready for cuddles and playtime. His adoption fee will include his neuter at our vet when he is old enough, up to date vaccines, and microchip.  His Story: In September, Zeus, his mama Athena, and five siblings were rescued from the Moreno Valley Shelter after being abandoned when the puppies were just 3½ weeks old. Athena was exhausted and underweight but fiercely devoted, doing everything she could to care for her babies in the noisy shelter. Once they came into our care, this little family finally got the peace, safety, and love they deserved.   After some much-needed rest, medical care, and TLC, Athena and her pups have all blossomed into healthy, happy dogs. Now Zeus is ready to find a forever family who will cherish him just as much as his rescue family has. ##2558008##
