Story
🐾 Nalu is Looking for His Forever home. He’s really sweet, affectionate personality. He’s incredibly smart, learns quickly, and loves being around his people. Nalu is still a young, energetic dog and needs someone who has the time to continue his basic training. He needs some work with walking nicely on a leash, not jumping up when excited, and learning not to chew things like shoes that are left within reach. With consistency, he picks things up quickly. Nalu can be sensitive about sudden movements or handling around his face and neck. Ex, if someone suddenly reaches toward his face/neck while trying to put a collar on him, he may defensively nip. He has never broke He has never broken skin or caused an injury, but this is something his new owner absolutely needs to be aware of and willing to work on with patient, positive training. Other than this handling sensitivity, he has been a wonderful family dog and has done very well living around children and other animals.

Story
Luna is a sweet snuggle bug! Our volunteers affectionately call her "fainting goat" because she will just fall over and show you her belly for pets. Luna enjoys toys and all things chews or treats! While Luna will be loyal, loving, and devoted to her people, she does not feel the same way about other dogs. Luna needs to be the only dog in the home. She's incredibly smart and wants to make her people happy, so she will be easy to train. Luna just wants to love and be loved back. Are you her forever family?

Story
I never thought I would have to rehome my dogs, and I am deeply conflicted about it. I left a marriage involving domestic violence and brought them with me because I did not feel comfortable leaving them behind. Inu is 6½ years old. I still remember bringing him home as a tiny ball of fur, barking in the car because he had no idea where he was going. After a few unsure weeks, he became incredibly attached to me after I helped him when a thorny rose branch got stuck in his mouth. Inu is exceptionally gentle, affectionate, and surprisingly lazy for a Husky. He loves being indoors, relaxing near his people, and does not need constant exercise to be content. He gets along with nearly every dog he meets and absolutely loves cats. He has lived with his brother Teo since puppyhood, and they are deeply bonded. Keeping them together is essential to me. I would love for them to find a home where they can remain together, live indoors, and be treated as part of the family.
