Story
🐾 Nalu is Looking for His Forever home. He’s really sweet, affectionate personality. He’s incredibly smart, learns quickly, and loves being around his people. Nalu is still a young, energetic dog and needs someone who has the time to continue his basic training. He needs some work with walking nicely on a leash, not jumping up when excited, and learning not to chew things like shoes that are left within reach. With consistency, he picks things up quickly. Nalu can be sensitive about sudden movements or handling around his face and neck. Ex, if someone suddenly reaches toward his face/neck while trying to put a collar on him, he may defensively nip. He has never broke He has never broken skin or caused an injury, but this is something his new owner absolutely needs to be aware of and willing to work on with patient, positive training. Other than this handling sensitivity, he has been a wonderful family dog and has done very well living around children and other animals.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I can't say enough about Blue Nova. Just look at this precious girl, she's not only beautiful and sweet she's smart and oh so loving❤ Her foster mama says "when she loves you she loves you hard" Blue Nova, is professionally trained so she needs an experienced owner that is willing to keep up her skills. She's a wonderful playmate with the puppies that come into our rescue, but as all dogs proper intro is required. Blue Nova, thrives on love and attention so we would prefer her to be with someone that can provide her with unconditional love. She wants to be your cuddle bug and protector, she loves her people immensely. She's a big strong dog who doesn't realize her size. Because of her strength she would do best in a home with no young children. She loves hiking, playing fetch and loves to swim. Are you a pack leader, who can provide Blue Nova with love and structure? Because this is what Blue Nova needs to thrive! If you live in San Diego County or surrounding areas, have a home with a yard and a minimum of a 6ft fence and would love to meet this awesome girl then please complete our adoption application at www.tlck9rescue.org Thank you TLC K9 RescueVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 31, 2026, 5:27 pm

Story
How this pet arrived:This pet was brought in by their previous owner on May 26, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you: Say hello to Dozer! This handsome, bright and athletic boy has a heart full of love and an outgoing personality, happy to meet new friends and receive pets wherever he goes. He has a long list of attributes - he's fit and vigorous for his age - definitely an active senior! His previous owner reported he got along well with the resident cat. He loves toys, playing in water and is delighted to get in a car and go! If left alone at home, he's a total house-hound and lives up to one interpretation of his name, napping and relaxing peacefully. Dozer has shown no aggression toward other dogs. He solicits treats (including blueberries and watermelon!) with a friendly handshake, and responds to several voice commands. He loves hugs and pets and is always ready for his next adventure. He's received rave reviews from volunteers in the Dog Day Out program, being described as "the most amazing bundle of joy!"
