Story
Meet Dasher, a super cute 6 month old male husky mix puppy, currently weighing about 47 lbs! We are unsure of breed mix, but isn't he 100% adorable?! He is expected to grow to a large dog.
Dasher and his 8 siblings (the Reindeer litter) were sadly dumped at one of our rescue partners in TN when they were about 3 weeks old, without their mom. The man who dumped them stated that it was an oops litter and that he did not want to deal with them.
Although he had a rough start, you would never know it! Dasher is a super sweet, friendly boy who is so full of love! He is good with other dogs, people, and kids (not cat tested so we are unsure how he would do with cats).

"Dasher is winning over hearts everywhere he goes, we’re amazed we’ve even had had him for this long. His demeanor has changed so much since we got him 3.5 months ago. He’s spunky and loves to play, but is also happy snuggling up next to you on the couch and getting some belly rubs! This heatwave has been a shock for him, but he loves to keep cool with a tasty ice cube or two. He’s incredibly smart and we think a great fit for any home that can give him the exercise and play he needs but also a comfy place to lay his head."

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
