Story
This is heartbreaking. Eddie was rescued at 11 months old. He is a purebred GSD and a joy. We recently welcomed a newborn into the house and he has become too protective. Also, the matriarch of the house is on palliative care for terminal cancer. There are many health care professionals coming in and out and he is just too protective. Eddie loves long walks and dog parks. He has been around many children of all ages and done quite well. He is now 6 years old and has always done regular vet checks. Eddie has lived with a golden retriever since coming to the home. They get along beautifully.Eddie is currently living with a family that adores him in Connecticut. He has passed 2 obedience classes and is extremely intelligent. Our home has a fenced in yard, so he is used to playing outside a couple of hours each day.

Story
You won't find a more handsome, intelligent or silly boy than Sidney. He is about 3.5 years old and weighs 84 lbs. Sidney is a very intelligent fellow, he learns quicky and is anxious to please. He will do well with a job and/or a lot of stimulation, long walks and hikes. He will do well with an experienced dog person. Sidney loves meeting new people. He has done well with large dogs he has met, however he is would not be good with small dogs or cats. Sidney does show some barrier reactivity, however, when the barrier is removed (whether it is a crate, fence or car window) he shows absolutely no issues. Because Sidney likes a lot of activity, he will need a securely fenced yard (must be a physical fence, not an electric or invisible system) He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area but transport is included in the adoption fee for approved adopter If you are interested in Sidney, email rookiesrescue@yahoo.com for an application
