Story
We are relocating and can’t take our dog with us. This is Sammie. She’s about 8 years old. We just had a vet visit last month and got a clean bill of health and she is up to date with vaccines. She is a Shepherd Husky mix. Sammie is good with other dogs for the most part. She is good with kids but little ones that pull on or step on her aren’t a good match. She is spoiled and sits on furniture. She probably needs more exercise than we can give her but likes to go out in our fenced in yard. She has stinky breath and enjoys mint bones. She also loves to kiss you with stinky breath. I think she does it to get a treat 🙂. She will eat any food left unattended. She likes to go in her crate to sleep but as long as there’s no food around for her to get into she will be fine without it. She needs to be brushed often or you will be vacuuming often. We will be very picky finding the perfect match, and I’m really hoping that we can. She is a beautiful and loving dog. She wi

Story
We would like you to meet Goldie!  Goldie is a stunning German Shepherd that is looking for her forever home. Goldie has the estimated birthday of 10/2022, putting her at her over a year and a half old. Goldie is a wonderful pup that is going to make her forever home so happy! Goldie is good with dogs of her similar size. She should not live with small breed dogs. Goldie has interacted positively with kids but would do best in a home with older kids/teenagers. Goldie thinks feline friends are fun to chase so we are looking for a home without cats! Goldie is house broken, and crate trained. She has wonderful house manners and is not at all destructive. Goldie has her basic obedience skills down but would love a family that is willing to spend some time using her brain on a continuous basis to stimulate that mental part of her needs. She would love a home that is willing to dedicate plenty of time to exercise and playtime as well. Goldie would do best with experienced dog owners and we will not be considering first time dog owners for this reason. There is a heavy preference on previous German Shepherd experience but our rescue will review all applications received to find Goldie the best fit and happy ever after that she deserves.  If you are interested in Goldie, please visit our website and fill out an application.  Astdogrescue.com ##2045681##
