Story
Ahoy! I’m Captain , your future adventure buddy, cuddle companion, and best friend wrapped into one fluffy, fun-loving Husky. I’m a happy-go-lucky guy who lives for the simple joys—car rides with the windows down, long walks in the fresh air, and cozy snuggles on the couch. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, and have great manners. I don’t need much—just a comfy spot to nap, a buddy to love, and a bit of adventure to keep my heart full. People? Oh, I adore them. I’m a world-class cuddle bug who’ll nudge your hand with my snoot for more pets and gently tap your arm if you dare stop. I’m just happiest when I’m close to my humans—whether we’re walking, lounging, or simply enjoying the moment together. Mornings are one of my favorite times—I’ll sleep in as long as you do, then give you a cheerful little howl to start the day. And if you’re heading out on an errand or road trip? I’m the best co-pilot you could ask for. I’ll lay down, relax, and soak in the view. I’m always ready for an adventure—whether it’s a walk, a jog, or a dip in the water (yes, I LOVE to swim!). If there’s a pond or a hose nearby, I’m diving in with pure joy. I’ve even been known to “help” with gardening… though I may be more enthusiastic than your flowers would like! I’m gentle with treats (frozen blueberries are my favorite!), and I’ll always greet you with a soft, happy howl when you come home—it’s my way of saying, “I missed you.” I get along great with female dogs and can warm up to male pups too with a proper introduction and a little time. I can be a bit protective over my food or bones, but hey, I’m still learning and just want to feel safe and understood. I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them yet. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and joy-filled Husky who can keep up with all your adventures and also be your snuggle buddy at the end of the day, I might just be the one for you. Let’s write our next chapter together—one full of fun, love, and a little splash of mischief.

Story
Hi, I’m Journey They say every dog has a story—and mine almost ended too soon. I was in a crowded shelter with very little time left, not because I did anything wrong, but simply because there wasn’t enough space. Then someone saw me—really saw me—and gave me the second chance I didn’t know I’d get. Now I’m safe, loved, and ready to find a forever home where I can truly belong. I’m about a year-and-a-half old, with striking blue eyes that people always stop to admire. I’m crate trained and housebroken, though if I’m moving into a new place, I might need a few extra breaks at first—new routines and spaces can take a little getting used to. I walk beautifully on a leash, and when I feel unsure or nervous, I’m great at listening and taking gentle redirection. When I meet other dogs on leash, I do really well. Inside the home, though, I can get a bit protective of my space, so I’d probably do best as your one and only, or maybe with a very calm and kind dog who helps me feel at ease. I just want to feel safe. My foster says I’m incredibly attentive and loving. I notice everything and love to stay close. I respond best to soft, gentle voices, and I really try hard to please. I’ve got a silly side too—they say I remind them of Scooby-Doo, and honestly, I kind of agree. When I want to connect, I’ll gently place my paw on your arm, like I’m saying, “I’m here, and I’ve got you.” It’s my little way of showing love. I’m okay with kids, especially if they’re quiet and kind. Sudden noises or loud voices can still scare me, and I’m working on being brave around things like passing cars. Sometimes I’ll jump up when I’m excited or nervous, so if that’s not your thing, I understand—just know I’m learning and trying my best every day. I’ve come so far already, and I’m proud of how hard I’m working. My foster is proud of me too. I just want a calm, patient home where I can keep growing and discovering how safe and beautiful life can be. And when I get a little scared? Well... sometimes I jump into your arms like Scooby-Doo. I’ve got a big heart that’s learning to be brave—one paw at a time.

Story
Hi there, I'm Laelle, a two-an-a half year old black and white blue eyed Siberian Husky with a heart full of hope and a spirit that never gives up. I may be a smaller husky at 45 pounds, but my personality is as big as they come! Before Husky Haven of Florida rescued me, I was lost and scared of people and other dogs. I used to have frequent seizures, but thanks to medical care, my seizures are now manageable. I used to feel bad for my foster because I wasn't potty trained and had lots of accidents. But now, I've learned to give signs when I need to go outside. I'm not a big fan of crates, but I absolutely love my cot because it keeps me cool and I can walk off when I get anxious. It took a few months until I learned my name, but now I come to you when you call me. I know it's going to take a special family to accept and love me, but I'm very hopeful. I am on medication to control my seizures and it’s working. Since my seizures have reduced, I've been able to do more normal dog behaviors like counter surfing (oops!). I'm good with everyone, but I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I would be with them. I pace frequently, which makes me expel a lot of energy and that makes me hungry, so I love to eat. A My foster family is so proud of me because I've come a long way from being blank, not knowing anything, to now socializing with people and other dogs. It may take a while until the right family finds me, but I know that you're out there. I'm spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, and microchipped. I can't wait to meet my forever family and share my love and resilience with you. With hope, Laelle.
