Story
Ahoy! I’m Captain , your future adventure buddy, cuddle companion, and best friend wrapped into one fluffy, fun-loving Husky. I’m a happy-go-lucky guy who lives for the simple joys—car rides with the windows down, long walks in the fresh air, and cozy snuggles on the couch. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, and have great manners. I don’t need much—just a comfy spot to nap, a buddy to love, and a bit of adventure to keep my heart full. People? Oh, I adore them. I’m a world-class cuddle bug who’ll nudge your hand with my snoot for more pets and gently tap your arm if you dare stop. I’m just happiest when I’m close to my humans—whether we’re walking, lounging, or simply enjoying the moment together. Mornings are one of my favorite times—I’ll sleep in as long as you do, then give you a cheerful little howl to start the day. And if you’re heading out on an errand or road trip? I’m the best co-pilot you could ask for. I’ll lay down, relax, and soak in the view. I’m always ready for an adventure—whether it’s a walk, a jog, or a dip in the water (yes, I LOVE to swim!). If there’s a pond or a hose nearby, I’m diving in with pure joy. I’ve even been known to “help” with gardening… though I may be more enthusiastic than your flowers would like! I’m gentle with treats (frozen blueberries are my favorite!), and I’ll always greet you with a soft, happy howl when you come home—it’s my way of saying, “I missed you.” I get along great with female dogs and can warm up to male pups too with a proper introduction and a little time. I can be a bit protective over my food or bones, but hey, I’m still learning and just want to feel safe and understood. I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them yet. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and joy-filled Husky who can keep up with all your adventures and also be your snuggle buddy at the end of the day, I might just be the one for you. Let’s write our next chapter together—one full of fun, love, and a little splash of mischief.

Story
Hi there, I'm Laelle, a two-an-a half year old black and white blue eyed Siberian Husky with a heart full of hope and a spirit that never gives up. I may be a smaller husky at 45 pounds, but my personality is as big as they come! Before Husky Haven of Florida rescued me, I was lost and scared of people and other dogs. I used to have frequent seizures, but thanks to medical care, my seizures are now manageable. I used to feel bad for my foster because I wasn't potty trained and had lots of accidents. But now, I've learned to give signs when I need to go outside. I'm not a big fan of crates, but I absolutely love my cot because it keeps me cool and I can walk off when I get anxious. It took a few months until I learned my name, but now I come to you when you call me. I know it's going to take a special family to accept and love me, but I'm very hopeful. I am on medication to control my seizures and it’s working. Since my seizures have reduced, I've been able to do more normal dog behaviors like counter surfing (oops!). I'm good with everyone, but I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I would be with them. I pace frequently, which makes me expel a lot of energy and that makes me hungry, so I love to eat. A My foster family is so proud of me because I've come a long way from being blank, not knowing anything, to now socializing with people and other dogs. It may take a while until the right family finds me, but I know that you're out there. I'm spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, and microchipped. I can't wait to meet my forever family and share my love and resilience with you. With hope, Laelle.

Story
Hi, I’m Maya, a petite, 3-year-old, 43-pound Husky with beautiful brown eyes and a heart full of love. I may be small, but I’ve got enough energy and affection to light up your whole world! If I had it my way, I’d climb right into your lap and stay there, giving you all the kisses and cuddles you could ever want. I’m a total love bug who follows my person everywhere. I do get a little anxious when I can’t see you — I just love being close. I’ll go into my crate and settle down fine, but it’s definitely not my favorite place. I’d much rather be running around the yard with you or soaking up some sunshine by your side. I haven’t quite figured out toys yet, but I love to go on walks! I get excited and might pull a bit, but I’m working on my leash manners. I also sometimes get distracted outside and forget to finish my business, so I’ve had the occasional accident, but I’m trying my best and learning every day! I’m great with other dogs, but I don’t depend on them, so I’d do well as your one-and-only or as part of a pack. I’m curious about small animals (especially ducks!), so a home without cats would be best for me. I already know how to sit, and I’m eager to learn more, especially if you’ve got treats! I’m smart, sweet, and ready to be your loyal companion. Right now, I’m still a little unsure if my people are going to disappear, but with love and reassurance, I know I’ll blossom into the perfect family dog. I’m spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, and microchipped, all ready for my forever home. If you’re looking for a cuddly, energetic best friend, I think we might be a perfect match.

Story
Hi, I’m Bluey! I’m a black and white Siberian Husky with bright blue eyes, and I’m 2 years old. I’ve been told I have the softest fur—like the plushiest plushy toy you’ve ever felt—and I’m super sweet to match. I like to talk to you, but don’t worry, I won’t talk your ear off. I’ll usually bring you my toy and ask you to play. If you can’t spare a minute, that’s okay—I understand. I’ll go lay down and wait patiently, but I’ll still want to be near you. If I really need you, I’ll let you know by gently booping you with my nose, and if that doesn’t work, a paw on your arm usually gets the message across! I do great in a pack and love going to doggy daycare. My buddies and I get along really well and play until our hearts are content. If you’re looking for a couch potato, I might not be your guy—but if you want a partner for bikejoring or cart pulling, I’m absolutely up for the job. And if that’s not your thing, I’m just as happy taking you on a nice brisk walk. I’m husky-smart, so a family with Husky experience would be ideal. I’m learning lots of commands, including mushing commands! I love wearing my backpack on walks—it means I get to be out front and it’s time to get down to business. I’m learning to listen, leave the squirrels alone, and skip the sniffing for later. Don’t get me wrong, I love good smells, but I’m figuring out those are for leash walks and playtime, and I’m cool with that. I’ll chase toys you throw and even bring them back… until I get bored. Then I think it’s your turn to fetch! I’m really good at matching your energy. If you play rough, I’ll play rough. If you lay down, I’ll chill with you. If you run around like a maniac, I’m right there with you. If you expect me to play nicely, I will—you just have to remind me that’s the plan. When I was first met, I was surrounded by kids at a picnic, soaking up belly rubs and all the attention. I loved it, so I seem to be pretty cool with kids. I’m kennel trained for when my humans are out of the house, but at night I do great sleeping in the bedroom. I usually prefer the floor over the bed, though. I’m learning that my humans prefer kisses instead of “mouthing,” and I’ve gotten much better at it—but hey, like everyone, I’m still a work in progress. I’m friendly, curious, intelligent, and ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick and favorite playmate.

Hi, I’m Gourdy, a sweet, gentle boy with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! I adore spending time with kids, chasing cat toys, and my absolute favorite, jumping on the trampoline! I’m a smart pup and a quick learner, so training me is a breeze (especially if treats are involved). I like to take my time with new situations — I don’t dive right in until I’ve figured things out. I’m cautious but curious, always paying attention (even when I’m asleep!). My favorite thing in the world, though, is being close to my humans. I’ll happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. I’m crate trained, sleep soundly through the night, and I’m doing really well with potty training. I know how to sit and come when you’ve got a tasty treat ready for me. I’m just looking for a family to love — and I promise to give you all my heart in return. Hi, I’m Karmy, a 7-year-old red and white beauty with the cutest floppy ear you’ve ever seen! Life didn’t start out easy for me, but wow, things are looking up. I’m learning all about being a “house dog,” and let me tell you, couches are amazing (especially for my silly couch zoomies). I’m making great progress with potty training (I’ve got my schedule down!) and crates aren’t so scary anymore—I even eat my meals in mine like a pro. I’ll admit, I’m still working on longer stays, but I’m very food motivated, so training feels like snack time to me. On walks, I’m a total dream—unless, of course, I catch the scent of a critter, then I get a little excited. My vision isn’t the best, so sometimes I bump into things or need a little guidance, but a kind voice and gentle hand help me shine. Personality-wise? I’m a calm, quiet girl who saves her energy for cuddles, massages, and belly rubs (the good stuff). I’m not a barker or a woo-wooer, but who knows—maybe once I’m fully settled, I’ll surprise you with a little Husky song. I’m still figuring out this whole “play with other dogs” thing and haven’t met kids yet, but I’m open to learning with the right introductions. The truth is, what I really want is to be close to my people. If you sit on the couch, don’t be surprised if I climb right into your lap—I’m basically a pro snuggler. I may have had a tough past, but today I’m full of love, hope, and sweetness. I’m ready to find my forever family—the one who will see past my challenges and see the amazing heart I have to give.

Hi, I’m Akira. I’m an 8-year-old Malamute-Husky mix with a gentle soul, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. With my beautiful coat and kind eyes, I’m more than just a pretty face — I’m a loyal companion who’s ready to find a forever home. I’m fully housebroken, crate trained (though I don’t really need it), and perfectly trustworthy when left alone. I love being near my humans and get along great with medium to large dogs. I haven’t met many small dogs or cats, but I’m open to new experiences. I enjoy peace and quiet but also have a fun side. Puzzle toys, chew toys, and especially squeaky toys are my absolute favorites! I toss them around with joy and love anything that keeps my clever mind busy. Walks make me so happy — I get a bit excited at first, but I settle down quickly. I love fresh air and new smells! At home, I’ll nap nearby and enjoy your company. I’m still learning to fully relax with cuddles in my bed and may ask for space, but I always communicate kindly and respectfully. I’ve never had an accident in the house, I don’t chew furniture, and I’m learning that comfy beds are for sleeping, not nibbling. My thick coat means I need to stay cool and hydrated, especially in warmer weather. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate, and smart best friend who will bring peace and love into your life, I might be the one for you. I’m ready for the next chapter — one filled with love, trust, and belonging.
