Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Timmy, a gorgeous 1-year-old possible German Shepherd/lab mix weighing 58 lbs. Timmy was found as a stray and spent six weeks in a training program in Georgia, where he learned socialization, basic obedience, crate training and leash skills. He is an absolute sweetheart with a calm and gentle nature. Timmy can be a little nervous and is not overly curiou Once he gets comfortable with you, he loves simply being in your presence and staying close to his people, whether that means sitting beside you or following you around the house. He can be vocal when he wants to play or go for a walk, often expressing himself with little whines or other sounds rather than barking. When he wants your attention, he has no trouble letting you know—he’ll come right up to you and place his paw on you. When he gets excited, he does jump up to greet you, but it’s usually a very gentle jump. Timmy is incredibly intelligent, obedient and eager to learn. He is very treat motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement. He knows the commands sit, shake and down, and is currently working on a few new commands. He is house trained, generally stays off the furniture, and rides great in the car. Timmy sleeps through the night and does very well when left alone. He is perfectly content sitting, sleeping or spending time looking out the window. Timmy was heartworm positive, but underwent heartworm treatment and should test negative in a few months' time.   If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Timmy, complete an app and tell us more about your family. September 14, 2026, 9:23 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Nova  Nova is a 4-year-old, 50-lb. German Shepherd / Husky mix who is all about enjoying life with her people.  Nova is an affectionate girl and loves being close to her people. Sometimes maybe a little too close. She loves to curl up right beside you and yes, sometimes on top of you. It’s a mystery how she manages to make her 50lb body into the size of a Chihuahua.  Inside the house, Nova is generally calm and easygoing, although she's definitely a morning person. She loves waking up, tossing her toys around, and enthusiastically slapping her long legs on the floor. Think of it as a daily Nova “happy show” to get your morning started. Nova is also an excellent adventure buddy. She walks beautifully on leash, enjoys neighborhood walks, and absolutely loves hiking. On weekends, she can often be found exploring local trails with her foster mom and canine foster siblings.  Nova is housebroken, crate-trained, good with other dogs, cat-safe, and friendly with new people. She also attends professional training at DiversityK9 and knows her basic commands.  Nova would do best in a home with older children or adults only. She can take a little time to truly settle into a new environment, but once she feels comfortable, she becomes a loving, funny, and incredibly loyal companion. If you’re looking for a dog who can spend Saturday morning hiking a trail and Saturday night curled up next to you, Nova might be your girl. Nova can't wait to meet her forever family - complete an adoption application today!September 14, 2026, 9:23 pm
