Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Clover is the sweetest husky mix boy. He is 10 months old, weighs 30 lbs. and has tons of puppy energy. Clover is so loving and is obsessed with cuddling! He is good with other dogs and is currently being fostered in a home with large breed dogs and various-age foster cats. Understanding that he is still a puppy, he does better with the younger teenage playful kittens versus the older adults. The more outgoing the cat, the better the relationship he can have with them as it will limit the chasing. He does great around children as well. He is learning basic commands and responds well to treats training. Clover is housebroken and crate trained. Being that he is still young, providing him with ample puppy toys, and safe chew toys is a must. He loves flavored bones and squeaky toys, which he is very good about not shredding. He is great on a leash and in the car. We are requiring a secure minimum 6-ft. fenced-in yard for him. He will need supervision whenever he is outside - he gets bored easily, loves to explore and will try to find a way to escape. Clover is high energy, loves to play, and will thrive in a home with an active-lifestyle family who can include him in outdoor activities and will provide him with structure and enrichment toys. He will benefit from puppy classes as well. Another large playful dog in the home would help him with his socialization and need for play. Huskies are generally intelligent, loyal and loving companions, but they are not a breed that can be left alone all day. Overall, Clover is the best puppy and will make a wonderful addition to the right family. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Trainer Update: Our gorgeous Noelle worked with a trainer who says she is a great dog for an active home with a job: physical activity, etc. Continued training is recommended as Noelle has protective instincts and would be best for an owner with Shepherd/dominant breed experience. =================================== Noelle loves long walks and absolutely loves to play fetch.  She likes having one special stick to fetch again and again.  A 6' fenced backyard is required for her to safely romp and play.Noelle LOVES water! She would love to find a home with a kiddie pool, pool or pond.  Noelle is a very strong girl who pulls hard on the leash.  She will need training and maybe a special harness because she just wants to smell everything as fast as possible! She is very good with people; she likes kids and people so much that she jumps on them in her excitement to meet them.  She will need some doggie etiquette training in this area.  She is not a fan of cats or other dogs since her family never properly socialized her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Noelle's family surrendered her right before the holidays. At the time, we knew she was pregnant, but because she was so emaciated it was difficult to tell just how close she was to having puppies. Four days later, she gave birth to 6 little girls, all now adopted!   Not only was Noelle very emaciated, but her neglect included severe skin issues and was positive for hookworms. One thing going for her was that she was heartworm negative:)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2024, 11:04 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Kato is a kind, yet dominant and physically strong dog. He needs an adult only home with an owner who has Husky/alpha breed experience.Kato is a happy dog who loves to chew on bones! He enjoys spending time with his humans.  He loves to go on long walks. Kato loves running around and knows several commands such as sit and touch. He is a spunky boy who loves to play and be the center of attention. He is a working dog who would love a job of some kind. Kato does needs to be the only dog in the home because he is selective about the dogs he is around. Siberian Huskies are not a breed for 1st time dog owners.  They need a family who are experienced with Huskies and can maintain an alpha and kind position in the home. His new home requires a fenced-in backyard to run and play like a Husky should.Kato was a previous PRBJ dog who was returned after his owners stated they did not want him.  Kato was severely neglected coming in with all of his fur matted and dirty and unable to walk much due to the pulling of his fur.  The only thing we could do was take him in to have his fur completely shaved off.  In his pictures you can see how he looked when he was adopted out a few years ago with his full beautiful coat, then how he came in full of mats and then his new summer coat.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2024, 11:04 am
