Meet Einstein! This handsome boy was surrendered to an overcrowded high-kill shelter, so Misty Eyes brought him in and placed him in foster care. He was adopted, but was found to be a bit too much for the family to handle, so he's come back. Einstein is a big, lovable guy who prefers women over men, and his foster mom has been working with him to overcome his fear of men. Einstein is not aggressive, but has a big bark that can be very intimidating. He loves his dog siblings and is fine with the cats in the home. He needs a very patient adopter to help him to continue to learn to trust men. A fenced yard is best for Einstein. He is a large guy and powerful guy. A DNA test was performed, and Einstein, surprisingly, is German Shepherd/Mastiff/Poodle/Shih Tzu. Are you the one to give Einstein a permanent home? Mack is a big, handsome, friendly shepherd-mix male whose owner had to surrender him due to unforeseen circumstances. He's a little hesitant on first meeting, and seems to prefer women to men, but once he's over his initial shyness, he's a sweet, friendly, cuddly boy. He can be a little protective of his family, but does not get aggressive. Once he learns that everything is safe, he's back to being his friendly self. His former owner stated he does well with adults, children, other dogs and cats. We have not tested him with small children or with cats. He can be a little selective with other dogs. He has decent potty habits and is accustomed to being leash walked. He is crate-trained and does well during his foster family's absences from home. Story
Myshkin (Myshie) has been a faithful companion to me for about three years. He has a VERY loving nature toward everyone and enjoys playing indoors or outdoors! With good exercise and trips to the dog park, Myshie and I are great pals. He is AKC registered, 100% Siberian Husky! As sorry as I am to let him go, I also want to make sure he gets into a good home. If you are interested in meeting him, please call or text me at (810) 348-2856. I have all the necessary supplies to take care of him included in the price (crate, beds, bowls, collars, leashes, etc). He really has been a great, adventurous dog with very little fuss and is surprisingly very quiet considering he is a Husky! He is fully trained (potty trained, several tricks, walking commands, etc) and shows a sense of respect that does need to be earned. If you have other dogs, I’d like to meet up to see how they get along as well.
