Story
Meet Jumping Bean!A 39lb, 1 ½ year old, Siberian Husky who lives up to her name! This happy, energetic girl is always ready for fun and brings a whole lot of personality wherever she goes. Friendly, social, and wonderfully silly, she`s the kind of dog who can brighten anyone`s day.Jumping Bean enjoys meeting new people and is very interested in playing with other dogs. Whether she`s making new canine friends or showing off her goofy side, she`s happiest when she`s around others and part of the action. She does pretty well on a leash and loves getting out to explore. As a young Husky, she`ll thrive with an active family that can provide plenty of exercise, adventures, and opportunities to burn off some of that youthful energy. While toys aren`t really her thing, people and dog friends definitely are! She`d much rather spend her time socializing, exploring, and having fun than chasing a ball.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. FOSTER TO ADOPT!!!Meet Stump, Stamp, Stache and Straw!??Stump- 6 weeks old, female, Shepherd mix.Stamp- 6 weeks old, male, Shepherd mix.Stache- 6 weeks old, male, Shepherd mix.Straw- 6 weeks old, male, Shepherd mix. These four adorable 6-week-old, Shepherd mix puppies are looking for foster-to-adopt homes while they continue to grow and develop! At this young age, they are still learning important puppy skills, including socialization, confidence-building, and all the canine manners that help them become well-adjusted adult dogs.Because puppies learn so much from one another, we would love to see them fostered in pairs whenever possible. If adopting a pair isn`t the right fit, a home with another friendly, well-socialized dog would be ideal to help teach them appropriate dog behaviors and provide valuable companionship.Like all young puppies, they are full of curiosity, playfulness, and plenty of puppy energy. They will thrive in patient, understanding homes that are prepared to guide them through their early learning stages with positive reinforcement, structure, and lots of love.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via FB Messenger or email us at jcasreception@johnsoncounty.in.gov for an application. You can also find one on our website at http://johnsoncountyanimalshelter.com/adopt/. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can set an appointment to meet the pet!
