We got him at 3 months. He is 9. He is afraid of thunderstorms, fireworks. He Loves kids!! Other dogs, not so much. Neighbor dog came over and attacked him 4 years ago. Before that he loved other dogs. Maybe could be resocialized with them. Does fine at the vet/kennel. My owners daughter is very sick, so I'm not getting the attention I need. I love to play fetch more than anything. Thank you for considering me. My owners tell me I am an amazing dog.

Meet Peli! She is a beautiful senior German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix, approximately 12 years old and 57 pounds. Spayed, vaccinated, and with vet records available, she is a medium-energy companion who is happiest relaxing near her people but still gets the occasional burst of zoomies. Peli is independent and not especially cuddly, yet she forms strong bonds with her family and is deeply loyal and protective of those she loves. While she may be reserved with new people at first, given time and patience she becomes a devoted companion who will happily follow her person from room to room.Peli would do best in a calm home with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time to build. She is house-trained and can use puppy pads if left alone for extended periods. She walks on a leash and knows basic commands such as sit and stay, though she may pull if excited by squirrels. She can be nervous around loud trucks, thunderstorms, and other sudden noises.
