Titan 2.5 years old Looking for an active family with lots of cuddles. Due to health unfortunately we’re having to rehome our baby Titan. Such a sweetheart Titan is potty trained, kennel trained, easy to house train (especially after transitioning period), and doesn’t bark or growl unless necessary. He loves his cuddles and stuffie toys and walks/play time. Being a heterochromia shepsky, Titan has lots of energy and leg power so he’d do great in a privacy fence yard or really long chain for potty time any fence still recommended during transitioning and he does good at bath time but still gets those adorable zoomies. He does good with children (though with his energy we’re not sure how young but at least 6/7), small pets like guinea pigs, and friendly cats (he likes to try to play with them but forgets he can be scary cause he’s bigger than them) and does great with new people (he just wants the loves). Crossing our fingers for finding a good fit full of love for our boy.

These pups are in Olathe, Kansas too!

Story
This name is Gideon, he’s a German Shepherd mix and just over a year old. He loves to play, cuddle on the couch, is house trained, very food motivated, and does well in his crate. I think he would do best in a house with a yard where he can run and play outside. Gideon can be fearful around strangers and has some anxiety/fear-based aggression when he feels scared or unsure, so he would do best with someone patient and experienced who can give him the training, time, and attention he needs. He also has a prescription to help with anxiety. This is a very difficult decision, but I want what’s best for him.

Story
Why should you adopt a 1-year-old doggie instead of a younger puppy? Well, for starters, have you seen this face and those ears? 🥰😍🥰 If that inquisitive expression doesn’t grab you from the jump, then we’ll appeal to your more rational side. At 1 year old, Jeepers is still young enough to bond with and grow into your family. We fully know his personality, so you’ll understand his needs and wants and can match them to your home and dynamic. He’s almost at his full-grown weight, so we can say with confidence that he’ll be 40-45 pounds. No waking up in the night to take him outside, like a young pup, because he’s solidly house-trained, and he’s crate-trained for when you are away. This smart German Shepherd mix already knows many basic commands, including sit, down and wait, and he comes when he’s called 🧠🧠 So, his training is well underway, and you can take the reins from here to show him specifically what directions to follow. Jeepers is still young and has the curiosity and loyalty of a puppy, but with all that we know about him, you’ll be able to know if he’s a match for you. And, you won’t have to toil with house training or baby puppy chewing and stuff like that. And we haven’t even gotten to how much fun Jeepers is. He loves all toys, all the time. He loves walks and doesn’t pull on the leash, so you can stop and smell the roses 🌹🌹 and the….other stuff 👃 👀 together. He loooovvvveesss attention from his people. You’ll get to drink in those soulful brown eyes that seem to say “I love you” all the time. Jeepers and his foster have been working hard to meet all kinds of new people and doggie friends. He can have some stranger danger, and that presents as barking. Underneath it, though, he’s a good buddy just trying to make sure everyone’s worthy of his friendship. A noisy but seemingly effective tactic that could also help anyone who needs a little extra security. He makes friends with other dogs after a slow (and maybe, ahem, talkative) introduction. He should probably live with kids over the age of 6, because his puppy energy might topple very young kids. Jeepers loves his people and will make the best darn boy for you, at every age. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $175. To meet him, bring a juicy treat (yummo!), and get approved to adopt him at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
This is Rex, he has been with us since he was a puppy. He is almost 6 years old. He does not get enough attention as our schedules have changed tremendously and are expecting a baby. We want Rex to have the life he deserves and be able to just be a German shepherd.
