Story
Titan 2.5 years old Looking for an active family with lots of cuddles. Due to health unfortunately we’re having to rehome our baby Titan. Such a sweetheart Titan is potty trained, kennel trained, easy to house train (especially after transitioning period), and doesn’t bark or growl unless necessary. He loves his cuddles and stuffie toys and walks/play time. Being a heterochromia shepsky, Titan has lots of energy and leg power so he’d do great in a privacy fence yard or really long chain for potty time any fence still recommended during transitioning and he does good at bath time but still gets those adorable zoomies. He does good with children (though with his energy we’re not sure how young but at least 6/7), small pets like guinea pigs, and friendly cats (he likes to try to play with them but forgets he can be scary cause he’s bigger than them) and does great with new people (he just wants the loves). Crossing our fingers for finding a good fit full of love for our boy.

Story
Bishop is an older dog who needs a place to stay. He’s housetrained and can go for 12-18 hours without needing to go to the bathroom. He’s about 70 lbs, pure bred, not neutered. He’s a very kind dog, can’t jump up anymore and needs a back yard. We are moving to a place where we can’t keep him with us. Good with kids, doesn’t mind other dogs, won’t eat off the table or get on the bed.

Story
Pax is the kind of dog who just fits. He shows up, stays close… and suddenly, he’s everything. Now, let’s address the obvious: Yes, he’s ridiculously handsome. Yes, those baby blues are real. He’s got the looks – but brings a much calmer, easygoing vibe than you might expect from a 4-year-old, 50-pound Husky. Pax somehow skipped the chaos phase and went straight to: Calm Loving Velcro (in the best possible way) Pax is NOT: ❌ Over-the-top ❌ Nonstop energy ❌ Early morning Husky monologues Pax IS: ✅ House trained ✅ Mellow and easy to live with ✅ Great with people, other dogs and kids ✅ Happy to follow you from room to room ✅ A good passenger who rides well in the car ✅ The kind of dog who just “gets it” He’s not here to entertain himself. Pax is just here to be with you. Real-life notes: – Working on crate training – Can have some separation anxiety (he loves hard!) – Walks pretty well on leash with a little pulling Best fit for Pax: – Someone who is home more often than not – Someone patient while he builds confidence – Someone who wants a constant, not just a pet Pax isn’t flashy or chaotic. He’s not “a project.” He’s just right. 💙 Pax is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. Apply to meet Pax at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤

Story
Trends come and go, especially in the age of “viral” social media. But some things never go out of style! One of those things is, without a doubt, Chex Mix! Chex mix has been the trusted go-to treat for ages. Why? Because there is something for everyone! It’s salty, sweet, and everything neat! There are so many Chex mix varieties to choose from, but our favorite is our very own Chex mix! Chex is a 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix weighing 65-70 pounds. Chex knows that the success of Chex Mix lies in the mixture of perfectly paired ingredients—and he believes that he’d be better paired with you! 😉 Chex is looking for his forever family, and the recipe for success in your home has pretty much been laid out for you! Let’s go over all of the boxes that our sweet boy CHEX off! -Is he potty trained? CHEX! ✅ He knows to ring the bells when nature calls! -Is he crate trained? CHEX! ✅ He rests quietly in his crate at night, but he also won’t decline a nice couch or floor. -Does he know basic commands? CHEX! ✅ He knows “sit,” “lay down,” “stay,” “wait,” “manners” (when being served food), “get your toy,” and “beg” (he will lay his head on your leg)! He is learning “say please,” “come and sit,” and "under" to go under your legs. He is very smart and learns new commands easily. -Does he like to play? CHEX! ✅ He LOVES squeaky toys and tug toys! -Can he live in a home with cats? CHEX! ✅ He likes cats and keeps his distance from the feisty ones. Here are some important considerations for building your mix with Chex: -Chex likes to choose his doggy friends wisely, so he may do best as an only dog. -Chex loves kids, but would be best with teens and older due to his energy level. -Chex is a strong boy and could use some practice with his leash manners. -Chex will need some time with his adopters to build trust, especially men. Overall, the perfect mix for Chex would be a woman-only home with no small children. He would love a fenced-in backyard to run and play. Chex is smart and loyal and will be a really great pup for the right person! Chex will come to you vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and neutered. He is also current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention! His adoption fee is $175. If Chex is CHEXING all of your boxes, go to www.pawsitiveTailsKC.org to fill out an app! Meet and greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
