Meet Maya  Mya has been an absolute sweetheart in foster care — easygoing, gentle, and such a pleasant companion to have around. She’s the definition of “chill,” happy to relax by your side, soak up attention, and enjoy the simple things in life. She may be a little older, but she still has plenty of pep in her step and loves a good backyard run or a game of fetch, even if she’s a bit slower these days. Mya currently lives with two cats, three kittens, and a blue heeler. She enjoys being part of the family and loves all the attention she can get! She does well hanging out indoors with the other pets, though she can get a little excited and bossy outside during playtime or when toys are involved. She would likely do best with calmer dogs, as she doesn’t enjoy overly excited dogs getting in her face. Hi I’m Lucinda! I’m a nervous girl that will take a bit to relax. But once I do I’m a very sweet girl and I love to be wherever my people are- well as long as they are home!! I am a home body for sure. So if you are looking for a new shadow, I’m your gal! My foster mom says I give too many kisses but I’m sure she’s just kidding because I don’t think you can have too many kisses!!! I’m a smart girl so I’ll learn quickly! I love to snuggle and to play we can have lots of fun playing, snuggling and learning together! I love playing with the dogs at my foster house, but I need a slow introduction to new dogs so I can relax around them before we get too close. If interested in learning more about me. She has only been around older kids, so we are unsure how she would be with younger children. She still has a few accidents, which is expected coming in as a stray, but she is almost potty trained. She does take a moment to warm up and can get nervous in small/enclosed spaces, but she does fine on car rides and enjoys being a lap dog.
